Hi mamas

Thanks Hasie for the tips, when you squat (sp) 1st time its not easy. But i did practise, and i think from now on i wont be sitting on the toilet at all.

I had s busy weekend, just some family things. So i am very exhausted, if i did not have deadlines i would be sleeping at home now. When you responsibilites you can't just not pitch, especially when you are not sick.

Have a lovely day ladies

Good Morning

hasie, I will remember tissue salts 9 & 11 (Thanks for your input)
It is not my dh that will be away but Wina's BF

I am so glad it is Friday
So i did have my appointment with my midwife, was just much later in the afternoon. The only thing she said was that it seems that I am hungry, and I said no, I am not. She said with the dip stick sample she can see my ketone's are high (But not that it is something to worry about). I read about it, and because I am not eating so many carbs, by body is looking for other energy sources, and that it is taking it from my fat resources (which is great), so no worries about that

Have a great day

Thank you so much Hasie, I read through the website in your signature and i would definitely like to do that. it is just such a mission with hubby, the moment anything sound just a bit out of the ordinary he just shuts down and don't want to hear anything about it.

StellaK, HypnoBirthing is not weird at all, I usually say, just get him to the first class, I'll do the convincing there!! The first class explains exactly how the body and uterus works, with all the science behind the hormones etc, and then I explain hypnosis and how it is something that you've all experienced before, and we all use hypnosis daily without knowing that we are actually doing it!

Makatk, where do you live? BeautifullyBorn has practitioners in Cape town, Knysna, Johannesburg and Pretoria. But there are other HypnoBirthing practitioners as well in the rest of the country check out www.hypnobirthing.co.za it really is very usefull for VBACs.

Wina, I will gladly explain any terms that doesn't make sense!!

Jay, nr 9 & 11 tissue salts, lots and lots of water, and squatting on the toilet instead of sitting. Promise, it works!!

Goggatjies, it won't be nice if your hubby misses the birth!! Do you have a doula?

Welcom Hasie  I know you will enjoy our company as much as we look forward to enjoy yours. Hypnobirthing sounds very interesting, i wonder if there is one consultant in my area as i'd love to try it in preparation of my VBAC. I love the green idea being an Environmental Specialist nmyself. Please share some of the

Our leave starts at 36 weeks but i'd prefer to be at work until 38 weeks if they allow me. I got very anxious with my son having to spend the whole months at home waiting. If things were to go my way i'd prefer to go on labour while at the office :P and drive straight to hospital without waiting.

@ Goggatjies: Makatk 15 April/ Girl/28 Nov

I had a cup of cofee today after a very longgggg time and sisi seems to have liked it becasue she has not stopped kicking since then.
