Hello Moomies,

We had the NT scan this morning. What an experience DH was with me this time as the first scan he could not make it. Right off the bat, baby flashes and now we know IT'S A BOY Super excited about it. DH wanted a girl but he came around to the idea while in the car, saying things like "he will look after the second baby". Everything was in place and the risk for down syndrome and other birth defects is minimal. I also broke the news at work this morning by attaching a scan to a leave form and leaving it on my manager's desk. the reception was more than I expected and of course sent me into a frenzy of tears and let me tell you I don't have a beautiful crying face

I know just what you mean!!!

momzee I know how you feel, I'm also overweight and just feel like I'm getting fatter and fatter. I told DH the other day that I feel the same way I did before I started seeing the dietitian. Just HUGE!

No complaints though, still smooth sailing and enjoying everything so far about heading into the 2nd trimester. I'm 13wks4d today, sooo looking forward to my scan on Thursday I "feel" lots of flutters this morning, especially when leaning over...so weird.

20 weeks today!! Baby is moving around a lot lately and I cannot wait for my next scan on Saturday!

I feel like a whale... Since I was overweight to start off with, I'm just getting bigger everywhere and not just my belly. I swear, bigger people, like myself, only seem to look fatter instead of pregnant. My colleague is 14 weeks and she has the cutest baby bump already - she's more on the lean side. People keep telling me it's my imagination and that I don't even look 20 weeks, but the mirror tells another story!

Anyhow, have a wonderful week everyone. Luckily it is a short one and next week I have a little 'holiday' again!

How was the long weekend.

Week 17. I feel huge and uncomfortable already.

Everything else is ok. I have no complaints.

Waiting impatiently for my next appointment.

Giggles Your teen weeks are nearly over, super exciting!

Not so much cravings but more preferences of types of food. I find I'm going for more salted/tangy food types like salted Lays, pickles/gherkins, I love the smell and taste of course of soya sauce with my limited avo maki....tart tastes like those are my fav at the moment and I absolutely can't wait to dig into Dad's pickled fish on Good Friday.

16 weeks this week ..... YAY.

I am so excited.

Everyone at work knows I am pregnant, I'm too round, can't hide it. I have always had a flat tummy, so from the time I had a slight bulge, everyone knew.

my next appointment is on the 12th of May, 20 week scan. It feels like it so far away, can't wait. Hoping to know if we will be team blue or pink.
