Hi there ladies!!

So I went for a scan on Tuesday to meet my new gynae etc. Was 17 weeks on Tuesday and really hoped we could see the gender, but unfortunately our little one is extremely shy and absolutely refuses to show us whether it's a boy or girl! The little one has a strong heart beat and is big for his/her age, just does not want to uncross those legs...

Anyway, next appointment is only in June at 23 weeks so hopefully we'll know then. We decided we are not going to do the amnio tests since the prelim tests were so good.

Still think I should pop in somewhere in the next two weeks to see if the little one won't share the gender...

I'm 11 weeks today

CandiBez That's great news!

I'm approaching 11 weeks on Friday so won't know gender for a while, maybe at my 13wks6days NT scan...will keep you ladies posted.

Giggles How cute! So good to hear positive news after scans, it makes this journey so exciting.

Mum2Be Thank you for all the info! Now that I know what to look for it eased my mind a bit and I realized that once again I was exaggerating.

My NT scan has now been booked for 24th April (13weeks6days exactly) and also with Dr Linnie Muller at Panorama @ R1000 cash only. My scan with the gynae is booked for 6th May...wonder if this scan will be necessary?

I'm physically feeling very pregnant today, that bloated-ness is back and "pre-menstrual" feeling in uterus. Could not bare the thought of wearing pants and I have to make a plan soon as it's getting colder and colder lately.

It's time for my afternoon nap.....I wish! ZZZzzzzz

All is well with my "bean". he/she was jiving away. we saw the hand on the face, legs kicking. It is definitely an out of this world experience. Baby is 88g.

Due date moved to 27 Sept. My 20 week scan is scheduled for the 12th of May.

Gynae suggests I use the due date from the 20 week scan to calculate my leave etc.

She also suggested I take my daughter with for my scans from June.

My blood pressure was low, she advised I keep to regular eating times, I sometimes forget to eat.

Everything else was fine.
