My gynie is self swanger 20 weke en nou komplikasies - sy kan my nie sien tot verdere kennisgewing nie

Wat gaan ek doen ek was nog nooit by iemand anders nie (mans) ek moet nou my downs-scan doen

Joans ek het klaar die bug. ai voel so goor maar gelukkig is dit darem amper naweek, nog net deur die dag kom en dis lekker koud vandag ook, die aircon maak my naar voel en benoud,so ek bring maar vir my 'n warm watersak saam om net op my bene te sit. Ek dink dit is te oulik as jy al begin wys. Dis lekker.

Nzuma were you not able to see the gender? Glad all is well. I am also going for the downs/NT scan on the 22nd, I will be about 13 weeks then.

Ladies perhaps this is a too personal Q and you don't have to answer, but are u also experiencing (.)(.) - if you know what I mean?? sjoe aches, pains itch and scratch at least its still a confirmation that everything is going so im not complaining tho,was just wondering.

Natsvan I'm so sorry to hear about your managers wife. So awful, makes one think! But thanks for the scan pics, pretty pretty!! Sho yes I also need some more yoga-type pants in my life. But the yummy mummy tummy waistband thing helps alot.

MommyMe I hope its nothing serious with your rib? Hope you don't get your hubby's bug as well. I've been chowing vit c chewies like sweets, totally paranoid about the flu bugs going around. I also think I'm starting to show now, it's still not a lot but hubby insists that its noticeable. Also defs in the navel section that things are happening. (feel so fat!)

Nadia shame, I hope the morning sickness passes quickly! I had a couple of on and off days before it completely went away, and man its so nice when it does.

NZuma I also went for that scan (my previous pics were from it) and its really great! It's not only a great peace of mind, but also so cool how much detail you get to see. I would highly recommend going even if you have very little to be concerned about.

NZuma, was your gynae referring to the NT scan? If so, I am doing it as well. Gynae said I don't have to but I want to do it so will go. Do you know if you're having a boy or girl yet?

MommyMe, hope you feel better soon! It's not pleasant being sick while pregnant. Do you think u may have bruised ribs from accident?

Hi Everyone

Just back from our scan, sooooooo cute Nugget is doing well, I'm 12 weeks 6 days. From what we could see, we are having another boy! Nugget didn't keep his legs open for too long but definitely looked likena willy! Gynae is really nice, hubby happy to so we can now relax and enjoy our leave. I have posted a few scan pics The one pic with an arrow is pointing at the suspected willy!

I'm pleased to hear I'm not the only one looking 6 months pregnant Tried to stand on the scale at the gynae and not fall off in shock Maternity pants shopping for me tomorrow!

Hi Everyone,

Haven't logged on in a while but I have been reading all your messages. And I must say its so good hearing all your stories.

I had my scan this morning. Doctor says baby is doing well, I"m now 14 weeks and 4 days along.

He suggested that I have a another scan, where they check for downs syndrome etc. Have any of you had this scan? And would you advise people to go for it?
