I'm over my little meltdown now realise that it wasn't done maliciously so just letting it go.

Anyway let me do more last minute studying. I'm still struggling with headaches so counting down the hours till I see doc on Tuesday to see if there is anything I can take - probably not but worth checking.

Welcome natsvan!

I am due on the 1st of Jan, so I'm in the same boat! (but I don't mind either way, it's the only time that all the family can be around, so I'm quite happy about that). This will be my first baby, and we found out a week after the honeymoon so it was a big surprise, but we're really excited. Going for my second scan tomorrow, so excited to see more than a beating-heart-blob!

I have also been absolutely exhausted all the time, but my symptoms seem to be getting better now (especially the nausea). Also very bloated, but can't wait for the first trimester to be over, so I can get some real belly going and to know that things are going smoothly. Oh and my emotions are all over the place!

HI Preggy ladies! Congrats to you all.

I'm 9 weeks and 1 day preggers, EDD says 3 Jan but because I'm having a c-section I might have a December baba! (Live in the middle of nowhere so easier to plan for a c-section) Not to sure which group I belong to so might just be friends with everyone :-)This is my second baby, we have a 2year old boy who is so cute and busy.

This time round I am feeling much more tired and boobs are so sore, already bloated so recon I will be supplying an olympic size swimming pool for this baba as well (had a big tummy for my son!).

How you all feeling?

Ai Nadia, thinking of you. know how it feels to have all these plans in your head about how you want to share your news then someone comes along and spoils it. Hope u get better with the flu soon, not nice writing exams like that on top of it all.

Dankie julle,gaan probeer ontspan die naweek, behalwe vir die springclean more. Wil so graag begin om die babakamer te prep. Kaste is nog vol dokumente en al my opgaar goedjies.

hahaha yes I can imagine what a surprise you've had! But then again, DH and I knew we were going to get married after about 2 months of dating, (when you know you know!) but we waited until we had been dating a year to get engaged, and even then people were telling us we are crazy for getting hitched so young! But each to his own.

Nadia I feel your pain. My mother found out by accident quite early on, so I asked her to keep it under wraps for a while, as we didn't want to get everyone hyped before we were sure that everything's okay, and I was planning on how to surprise my dad with the news, after all he only hears that he's going to be a grandpa for the first time once, and then she let it slip as well. I was furious! Just felt it wasn't her news to share at all. But I can't change that now! It is really upsetting tho. So I sympathise. Take a day or two to cool down, it helps. It can't take away the disappointment, but it does make one less angry.

I'm so irritated right now. Apparently my hubby let slip on a fishing trip that I was pregnant, my cousin then told his mom who told everyone else. I just feel that it was my news to share! Not that hubby shouldn't have but surely my cousin and aunt didn't have to tell everyone? Or am I just being irrational? Doesn't help that I have the flu as well so feeling sick as a dog

Okay done ranting now. Will try and find my positivity again in the next post!

Hello everybody

I am sort of new to Moomie but iv been writing at the "August 2014 Babies" forum. So i thought id pop in here by you guys and have a read, you guys are quite talkative, i hate waiting forever for someone to reply LOL. All you ladies sound so sweet.

Let me introduce myself, Im Naydz and im from Johannesburg. Ill be 26 on the 25th July(by that time im 37 weeks pregnant and ready to pop haha).Baby is due on the 12th August, its a lil boy. He will be my first child, I am engaged although we have only been together for 7months(Joans-i know your baby was unexpected and your newly married, so you can imagine how big a surprise it was for me.) You ladies probably think I am crazy but he is the love of my life and my soulmate and it feels like we been together forever. These kinda things happen for a reason and if i had the choice of going back and changing it.... i wouldnt.

In the beginning when i found out i was 5 weeks preggers, i didnt have any morning sickness at all. i felt fine, although my breast were tender and everytime i thought of my fiance' i would want to jump his bones (TMI haha i know) after 8 weeks the nausea hit me up until about 22 weeks of pregnancy, all i wanted to eat was fruit and i just wanted fruit juice and sweets and chocolates. I actually lost about 4kgs in the beginning. From 23 weeks up until 28 weeks the nausea went away and now its back. Sleeping has become a problem because i get up about 10 times a night to wee and finding a comfy position to sleep in is another problem as your tummy gets bigger. But all in all i have had a really good pregnancy so far, baby moves around alot and he is already in a routine, he doesnt wake up when i go to the loo at night but as soon as my alarm goes off to get up for work he starts moving around.

Anyway, hope you guys have a great weekend, i get to see my little man tomorrow at our 4D scan so I am really excited!!
