Nels_ Thank you, you have a way of making me feel better every time! I will follow your advice though and steer clear of eggs. Mmm more muesli for me!

Faffymum_ You sound JUST LIKE ME! I did same, heaven knows why they ask for 2 packs of those humongous pads, I read somewhere that 2 breast pads per breast per day is ample... Oh and where do they want us to fit the 40 diapers in anyway!? I'll pack a few loose ones in the bag and just bring the jumbo diaper pack along next to it. I actually got the feeding cami and yoga pant combo for hospital as PJ's, will add a summer gown to it as I think it will be cool but not be freezing, we'll have blankets and a brand new baby grabbing our attention away from feeling cold - However I did just buy the warmest fluffiest winter slippers, nothing that makes me cold like having cold feet ;-)

Anyone here on blood thinners like Clexane?

hahahah RonelleB..I also packed my hospital bag but I only packed my stuff. I am not sure about baby bag either. But I guess you will figure out what is best being easy access in side pockets and what is better being tucked away. I got lists from google for hospital bag..and it says 2 packs of maternity pads...thats 24 pads! I can't fit 24 giants pads in my bag...and how long does one need to be in hospital to use 24 pads!? LOL..so I just packed one pack of 12. and a hand full of breast pads...cos who knows how many of those you need. I have a feeling I am overpacking..hahahaha. And I put in my winter gown which takes up half my bag..but the thought of putting a fluffy gown on makes me think it will be too warm? End of April though? Are hospitals freezing? Maybe I should get a lighter thin gown rather?

Baby bag will wait until after our baby shower. We haven't bought any disposable nappies or creams or receiving blankets etc etc cos otherwise what are my friends gonna get? hahaha.

Needless to say...over thinking this might be the problem here RonelleB ;)

Morning ladies

Ronnell@ I know some preggy moms who incl me have had morning sickness coming back again in the last trimester. There are a few foods/drinks that I get such bad cramps eg: coke, i cant touch even a teaspoon of it makes me ill the WHOLE day. While in my first and second trimester I never had this issue. Im not sure what causes these changes but my advice would be to stay away from eggs for a while and try it again after birth , but slowly and in small amounts.

Morning ladies...

Trust all is still well with you and that all buns are still safely tucked in their ovens? ;)

Things are hectic in my life at the moment, work is not slowing down and I'm starting to take some strain. In addition, the strangest thing is happening to me.. I think you will remember me saying last week that I have this nausea, vomiting and stomach ailment going - Nels seemed to have same  well, that is not going away, I found it happening more and more often. This morning again. Only this time I think I have discovered the cause, but I want to check with you and see if I am making sense or if you think I could be sitting the pot miss... I think I get like this every time I eat eggs. I  eggs. Eat eggs every 2nd / 3rd day. Never had this problem, till 2 weeks ago. Can it be that my baby has developed an allergy / aversion for it? Is it just me? Is there such a thing as late onset morning sickness? Not sure... All I know is that I am rather green today.. :-(

Also had a good giggle at myself over the weekend. Trying to pack the hospital bags. Got the pile of stuff for LO together and tried packing the nappy bag - what a nightmare. I'm a proper "refer to manual" kinda gal, I think you can see where this is going.. There is NO MANUAL! I freaked! Jumped onto google etc... Still nothing. Now I will have to rely on just fitting everything IN the bag, instead of allocating nice spaces / slots / cavities. I guess a good precursor for raising a child for which there is also NO MANUAL

Starreyed@ how are you doing? Keeping you, dh and beautiful bundle in our prayers. Please keep us updated.
Gloie@ how are you. I hope your work load has decreased and you are able to relax.
How has the weekend been ladies. Wanted to do last minute washing this weekend but it was raining and now I have to tackle it during the week when its sunny. This weather is awkward.

Hi Ladies

Gloie@ my hip is still a bit of a problem. Getting an appointment seems to be tricky too. She is well booked. I had a bit of stress because I also started thinking of first signs of labour. I think my body is preparing for baby though. I am having back pain or period like pains more often, just have to start timing it. I heard back pain means baby is further down which makes me happy as I really want a vbac.
Going to do a mini hypnobirthing session with my Doula next week hoping I get a hang of it.
Ronelle@ thats great, baby is growing big. I can understand your dh concern, as a spouse you always think of the worse cases during such times. He wants to be there for every second of it.
I passed a full length mirror yesterday and was shocked at how big my tummy was:D:o. I kept thinking its not too big but I was WRONG.
