Sho, ladies I am surprised to hear I am not the only one with family issues...I think we can all share the sadness of this especially at a time like now. It's so true what RonelleB says about it taking a village to raise a child. I think that is one of the reasons I hang out here frequently in Moomie land, for the support and sense of community. I think we all really need to know I am not alone in this journey and sometimes need some encouragement and advice on the journey (which should have traditionally been given by close family members).
Nels - My LG was also delivered by 38,5 weeks, so I am also pretty sure I will go past that mark too. Can't imagine how frustrated and uncomfortable you must be by now! Hope you can take things easy and that all preparations are in place. How is your son doing? Is he anxious?
My LG has bouts of uncertainty and verbally expresses her concerns whether if I will still love her and if I will forget about her...shame. Trying to spend as much quality time with her as possible to "fill her cup" and reassure her of our love.
Mmm....yes, the period like pain is often the first symptom of start of labour. At least it is a good sign that your body is gearing up for the exciting event. Please keep us updated!!!
RonelleB - Thank goodness for a few selected family members who we can still count on - so grateful for them!!
I didn't know that the belly binder is recommended for natural birth too? I wore mine straight after my c-sec, I would not even consider having a c -section without one, I believe it really helps mobility and recovery A LOT. Pity the Cariwell one is so expensive, my doctor gave me one that cost R160 and does the same thing, but they pre-order it from a medical company.
I can feel myself going crazy just by reading about chocolate and baked goods!!! I dream about cakes of all sorts...

I love choc mint anything!!! I have been craving Peppermint crisp tart - oh boy...
Keep well ladies. xx
