Thanks Ctelly, great idea, and nice to be able to let DH feel more involved, I think he may feel quite helpless a lot of the time.

Hi Ladies - just a last thing I though of.. someone gave us a tip regarding visitors after baby is born. They suggested that husband coordinates visitors, at the hospital and at home. I know with my brother's baby we visited whenever.. we didn't take visiting hours into account and the hospital wasn't strict on it, but now I realise that it must have been hard on the mommy because they are trying to establish a routine and are tired etc. So just a thought.. and hubby can feel helpful :)

baby on the way: March / April 2018
Big brother: Alexander | Born 18 August 2015

Wow, that is quite detailed Daerhel, reminded me of some things I'd left out too - thanks for sharing!

hehe Thanx Stella. :)

I tried. I googled some examples, then just added in anything that fitted what I really wanted.
Most of the examples I found were like 6 or more pages long.
I just figured doctors and nurses don't have the time to read a 6 page birth plan, so I just put in what fits for me and what I really want and a few things I know DF wants too. Like cutting the cord. He actually asked the other day if he'd be allowed to. I'm sure he will be, so I put it in as something we'd like them to allow.

You're welcome to use mine as an example if you like. :)

Awww Stella. Such beautiful photos of your little G's first moments in the world.

Yep I cry easily lately!
Our colleague was just here to show off her little girl. She's now 6 weeks old and just too cute and beautiful. She was a little bit windy, and burped up all over my shoulder... everyone here keeps saying it's good luck. But here's me in tears, not coz of the milky vomit all over me, but just because I thought it was too cute how my little one started kicking up a storm at exactly the same moment! Too precious for words! :)

I've made up my birth plan... Finally! and included what to do in the event of an emergency c-section. Even included a bit on what I'd like if baby has to go to NICU or something, just in case.

I think it's sufficient. Can't think of anything else to add to it really.
Quite happy to take suggestions if anyone can think of a point I may have forgotten.
