hi there ladies,

jip, counting down towards maternity leave.
i will work till end of july - 38 weeks. do not want to push it till the end again. its really hectic to work in the end.
with G i would have worked till 39 weeks, but then he came 2 weeks early. i worked on monday and he was born on tuesday. i should have still worked that whole week.

Ctelly, the Dischem bag is very nice. you get a whole nappy bag filled with goodies.

you should all register for the dischem bag.
you just register and have to spend R300 on baby products then you get the bag in your 3rd trimester.

im also lekker tired today. and feel like i might just as well take my laptop to the bathroom and work on the toilet
last night G actually slept through the nights, but i still had to get up 3 times to go to the loo

Hi Prenessa, we get 6 months (180 days) leave. Our company covers 60% of our salary for the time, we need to claim 40% of it from UIF but luckily HR is helping me with all those admin.

Hope you feel better soon and the cramps go away. Little Alexander found my ribs.. he is kicking and kicking.. he is already lying upside down.. his head is on my right side.

I'm taking 4 months Aug to Nov and taking annual leave in Dec so I can get paid and get a little bonus lol

Was told to pick my bag in my 3rd trimester.
How many months maternity leave to you get.
I am only taking 4 months.
My company only pays 50% of our salary.

@Ctelly. I think I'm starting mine end of July (3.5 weeks earlier) and coming back first week of January. I had planned for 14 Aug to 4 Jan but I feel I'm gonna be too tired by then.

I didn't know they still gave out hampers... I've been buying from Clicks, I'm def gonna change over lol

Hi Ladies, I agree with you!! looking forward to the maternity leave. I'm trying to go on leave 2 weeks prior to my due date, our company policy states that I should go on leave 4 weeks beforehand but if the dr agrees that i'm fit for work then 2 weeks will be granted. That way I only come back to work in Feb or March 2016.
P.S has anyone else registered for the hamper from dischem? I bought some stuff from Dischem a few days ago and the cashier said I must register for my free baby hamper from them.. they just took my dischem card details and due date.. I'll let you know if I get anything
