today is my little rascal's first birthday. this week has been such an emotional roller coaster for me. so extremely grateful for my angel baby. it has been such a blessed year
i cannot believe that he is 1 year old already - he has grown up way to fast.
on this moment exactly 1 year ago i was exactly halfway through my labour. was in labour for 22 hours and he was born 20:55 in the evening - what a beautiful experience

hope all is well, i seem to be freezing my bum off today and its been so hectic today feel like crawling into a whole and sleeping for months but at the same time i am so excited for my appointment today that i cant concentrate and i am bouncing around.

keep your fingers crossed that baba wants to be seen today.

I'm a size 36 so I look like I've gained and not really showing. At that stage where people are scared to ask if I'm gaining or pregnant lol. I'm 20 weeks today i want my bump now!!

Glad the scan went well Kel, wow, he really fills up the whole image on the scan now, so big! Can't wait to see mine now

Oh well, I guess home waxing it'll have to be, though it's a lot harder inflicting pain on myself than letting someone else do it... might try roping in my sister-in-law

Ctelly, in our area loadshedding is scheduled in the afternoons, so we are really not affected much. we have never had loadshedding in the evenings. but its not that difficult, had 2 days without power a few months ago, but then we have a camp gas stove for heating up food.
we also use our camping lights which is battery powered.
i think the only problem will be is food or hot water to warm up a bottle. then just do not bath if there is loadshedding.

with teething - attached is a rough guideline. from more or less 5 months they start with the first 8. then the molars should only start at about 16 months.
toothy nr 8 is very close now, so hopefully then we have a few months off before the molars

Kel16 - so glad to hear your scan went well on Thursday. Its just wonderful seeing baby and knowing everything is well. Our little one keeps crossing his legs (like on the beach). Thursday was my 3rd scan and he again lied like that. he also sucked his thumb this time. and his head is tilted downwards and on my left side, lying on his back. When's your next scan ?

StellaK - all of the best with your boy's teething. How does it work? you mention that you'll have a break after the 8th teeth?
Wide-eyed - I've also experienced rapid hair growth, my nails as well. Home waxing might be the cheaper option? only a few months to go
