Ayesha, sorry about your boss. please note, he cannot force you to come back. effectively the labour law only states that you may not return within the first 6 weeks after baby is born, but that doesn't mean that he can force you to come back. those 4 months are such an important part of your baby's life and i can guarantee you that you will not cope going back with baby only being 6 weeks old.

Dearhel, sooo glad hubby got such a nice offer. Pretoria is a great place to stay. been here since 2003 and really love it.

BoomBoom and Simone, how was your scans last week?

Ctelly, studying with a baby is possible, but very hard as you will have very little time for it. but it is doable though. and we will support you all the way.

i'm now 21 weeks and this is my 2nd baby. my 2 boys will only differ 16 months.

hope i didnt forget anyone now.

im having a terrible time. since saturday i have a terrible tummybug. hubby and baba also had it so was just time till i caught it. my little rascal is now just better, so i really hope that he doesnt get it again.
at least yesterday i got some antibiotics from the gynie, and its starting to help, but i'm still extremely nauseous. stayd home yesterday and today.
and tipically now that i'm really feeling bad, lb is extremely clingy and wants to be carried the whole time. at least he slept better the past 2 nights so i got some rest.
on the positive side, my little peanut is now starting to kick up a storm. and hubby could feel him move last night. was such a nice experience.
exactly 1 week till my little man's birthday, so party planning is now going strong - going to do a caterpillar theme

Thanks for the warm welcome I've been living in Jo'burg for a little over a year now, though originally from Durbs and lived in CT for 12yrs before this, so a little bit of everywhere really.

EDD is 29Aug *so excited* so I am now 18wks and 3 days along - this is our first baby. Not sure yet if we're team blue or pink (hoping to confirm at the next scan on 9 April), but the sonographer's first guess was a boy, so we'll see - either way I'll be really happy!

How many of us are team blue and how many team pink so far?
