@Mommy4 decided to move my appointment to Thursday giving her the benefit of the doubt lol spoke to my midwife yesterday if labour hasn't started by Thursday we gonna do a sweep me stretch.

@ Berry wow u can hav contractions for so long didn't know, hope things happen soon for u

Astubchen - As DieSwartKat said having a little person depend on you for EVERYTHING as well as the sleep deprivation is really hard. I don't think there is a way you could be prepared for this new responsibility and adventure. Take it day by day and try to leave the house for an hour or two for a change of scenery. Maybe take baby for a walk around the block. Unfortunately a routine is pretty much out of the question for a while. Your hormones are also all over the place - don't be hard on yourself. Your emotions are normal at this stage.

Thanks for your encouragement Moomies. I have had these period cramps permanently since the weekend. Really does feel like I have been in labour for days which is not what I expected this being my second time around. I somehow was convinced my body knew what to do and all would begin and end within say 7 hours or so. Was I wrong haha! I have started to loose my mucus plug this morning. Having a thickish jellyish brownish discharge. Also have had what I assume is a little amniotic fluid leaking the last 2 nights. So now am waiting for the proper water breaking and then it's on
