TCS84 we literally on the same boat did not sleep a wink last night waiting for her to move finally in the morning decided to go to hospital cause I was not feeling any movement, they put me on the fetal monitoring machine and everything is fine! They said the same that theres less space for her to move now, phew! I exactly know how you feel,im just scared at this point aswell that something will go wrong and I won't know about it.I think its linked to the fact that my mom had two still births around the same time in terms of weeks. But Dr keeps assuring us that everything is fine!

Just getting so impatient,my csection has been officially booked for the 5th of September at 7:30 ,can you believe its so close??

@Dieswartkat I guess you wont worry much about the birth cause its not your first. I think with us first timers its a matter of not really knowing what to expect. But I am hopeful that everything will go well. I feel bad sad for your daughter but I guess TCS84 is right maybe if you flood her with the excitement of her going to be a big sister to the brother and maybe have her look forward to playing with him and looking after him might have her more at ease and excited. I am sure she might even surprise you and be very excited about the whole thing.

@TCS84 well I am glad that everything is fine now. 2 more weeks and it will all be over :)

@Dieswartkat i can imagine how sad it will feel to leave her.. not an easy thing to do but i suppose u could comfort her with the fact that ur going to get her little brother... mayb a small gift for the 3 days will help too..

Hi!

I'm also spending a lot of time thinking about our due date. Not so much about the actual delivery, finding myself panicking about the sleep deprivation and also the fact that I have to leave my little girl for 3 nights. She'll be with my mom and dad, but we've never been separated for more than one night (and only 3 times since she was born). I'm going to miss her so much, and hoping she doesn't freak out and cry hysterically when they visit me in hospital.

2 week from today I'll be holding my little boy...

@TCS84 I also sometimes feel the lack of movement and I will panick so much thinking something is wrong. But then I try a few things to get him moving. I will drink some cold water or have yoghurt. He always kicks about when I have yoghurt so I know that's my trigger just to have him communicate with me when I feel less movement. The last time I asked my doctor he said there will be less movement cause he is running out of space but I should still be able to feel the kicks and punches everyday. So don't panic much we are almost there. before you know baby will be in your arms. :)

This weekend he moved so much to my right side that my stomach was literally skew for a good 30 minutes it was so funny but also good to see that he is being active. Its weird that everyone talks about the rib cage pain when they kick there but I have never felt it at all and the doctor did confirm that he has turned and is sitting in a correct position. so I don't know whether maybe he still has enough space or maybe he is just short LOL! but everything is normal.

That night i cried with pain in my hip and legs, was so horrible. the next morning after my morning milo, still no movement. so we decided to go in. was put on machine and baby is 100% fine. she said he prob running out of space etc
was sooo scary because i really thought something was wrong.

i dont know when he is going to make an appeareance but i hope its soon... i heard bouncing on a yoga ball helps so i have started doing that gently... doesnt seem to be working.. i know i should just be patient and he will arrive when he is ready

@mommy4 I was chatting to the ladies at work about their birth experiences and so forth and one mentioned that when ever she gets close to giving birth she always gets nose bleeds and she asked her doctor and he said its perfectly normal and happens to some women. Maybe it is the same case with you. But maybe just also consult with your doctor also just to be on the safe side too.

@TCS84 I must say that is a beautiful nursery, I love it and the colours are just beautiful. I am sure baby is always going to be calm in that room. Post more pics once done. :)

Hope everyone else is doing well. I am just feeling so anxious now. 7 days to go then we in the month we all have been waiting for. We have finally reached the finish line. I generally thought by now I will be panicking at the thought of giving birth and so forth cause when you just think how small that "little area" is lol eish. But I guess that's how things are meant to be. we were created for this. So instead of focusing my energy on stressing about the birth I chose to focus it on seeing those tinny fingers, those little feet and an adorable face. Anyone else thinking a lot about the birth?
