@TCS84 all the best with your scan today..!

@Vendah it's almost thurdsay :D

@iasid welcome to the chat :) looking forwards to sharing our journeys together!

This week has been a tough one for me.. sat down with my boss & discussed if I'm happy in my job. Truth is that the thought of getting up for work every day depresses me. Once apon a time I studied science at university & always thought I'd get into teaching or research. But took a job as a rep because I was offered a position before I even graduated (I mean, that doesn't happen very often!). Fast forward to now & I really can't see myself coming back after maternity leave! Don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones but the feeling is so intense. I know I should be so grateful that I have a job, but what is it worth when everyday is a struggle to get through?

Yay! I get to join the club! Im 8 weeks 3 days and due on 16 Sept (day after MY birthday!)

Had my first scan yesterday and seeing that little heartbeat brought hubby and I to tears, given that I suffered a miscarriage in August 2014.

While trying to be happy and celebrate this second chance that we have been given at being parents, my heart aches as Ive been retrenched (found out this week as well). I cant deal with this stress.

Makes me cry knowing that i have a little person to take care of, but the future seems so unsure at the moment.

Wishing you ladies all the best for your pregnancies!

Hi girls :heart: thank you for all the love and support, its not easy but I am being strong~saw gyni today for my check up and all is well with me~we did blood tests etc and looks like no abnormalties etc with me but we will be using progestrone next time around just incase...

Dieswartkat~you and I have shared a journey together and I know 2015 has another BFP instore for me~about my age I had to LoL as my gyni was telling me the other day he would love if I study further and become a gynachologist and do my apprentice via him he has even offered to pay towards my studies as he says he's never met such an intellegent young lady that is so passionate and well knowledged about this kind of stuff*i told him google is my best friend...

One thing about myself~i always keep smiling, like dieswartkat said rather earlier in the pregnancy than later as that would be more of a emotional roller coaster than it already is...I do believe my age will work in my favor and good things are still too come...I knew something wasn't right and had to follow my gut feeling, everyone says I am much calmer and mature this time around than with the previous loss...I'm handling it quiete well I think,I go back to work monday and can't wait to keep my mind busy again...

I will not abandon any of you...ill still pop in and hopefully share my good news with you soon again!

Xxxx

Hi Tanzie,

I had a bad feeling when we didn't hear anything on Tuesday, you are normally so active on here. I expected you to be on bed rest (or something!), but definitely didn't expect a d&c.

I don't know what to say, we were together on our previous thread as well and I'm heartbroken for you. I suppose you were right to check out the spotting last week already, most of us would have thought it was normal and then would have had to deal with the devastating news later. I haven't been through a miscarriage and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I would think that it's better for your body to go through this earlier in the pregnancy. Still the same for your heart though :cry:

I'm also surprised at your age, never knew that before. You are so much wiser than your years, I hope that your age counts in your favour and that you will get that natural conception in the coming months.

Please pop in from time to time (if you can bear it), I'll always wonder how things are going. Can't wait for you to come share your good news with us again!

:heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:
