Lilly am having a c section, well the hospital is ok but it has that `hospital` feel thats,what am paranoid about cause the first time i gave birth at genesis, you wouldnt see any incubators and all there hhahaha.
But am getting a private room so i should be ok. They also have vip and vvip rooms which are nice, for me i just wanna be comfy have bthroom and toilet close by without leaving the ward.and hubby was saying so that they dont swop the baby while am in the loo (that happens in movies am sure)

oh woow kimmy, I am yet to do the tour. Do you still like the hospital? how are the maternity and labour wards? what type of birth do you wish or have you decided on?

@lilly yes. Its a boy. I havent bought anything as yet .but i have the whole of august with no pre school pick up or drop off so ill catch up.

I went for my hospital tour today at parklane, it made everything real cause mist of the moms were due more or less in oct/nov

@Kimmy- Its real dear. In no time we will be holding our little ones. At times I forget i am preggy because all the 1st trimester ailments are gone, then i would just get this big kick in my tummy from baby to remind me that soon we will meet face to face. Have you bought anything for baby as yet? Do you know the gender yet?

@ LouiseM- oh woow, congrats on the cotton diapers hey. I really wish i could be as organised as you are hey.. you are so on top of your game, i am jealous. Please remmeber to post the pics of the outfits. I am still unsure what sort of clothes one gets for 'going home'..thou shall help others with ideas, please ladies.

@Lauz- you look hott mama. Lovely pic and a very bright smile. I still saying we owe whoever invented leggings, they are the most comfy yet stylish item to have during pregnancy. Imagine back then when people used to wear big maternity dresses, cant dzeal you look good dear. I am also 23 weeks, i will try and post a pic, though i struggle with photographers

@HoopVirDieBeste- Oh woow, 8km? woow i am impressed hey. I doubt i can even do 500m LOL. I must go check out Game hey, i am looking for babygrows too. Time flies, i remember when this thread started, i was still in the TTC board. I was thinking the same on how much time has gone past, seeing one of the mommies who started the TTC thread, she is now about 33 weeks or so. SO yes, soon our little ones will be here. Enjoy the 4d scan.

@pillpusher - its always priceless to see the little ones, i am glad Elle is doing great. Enjoy the last lap of the journey (last trimester).. i cant believe soon we will be talking about birth and pics of our little one

on my side, nothing much to update. I am still not organised but i think its mainly because i cant picture if we will still be in our current home, or in a new house. We keep to be going back and forth on the decision to move So yaa, i dont have a place to actually start getting organised. I missed the EARTHCHILD sale, but found very cute items today. I am trying not to buy a lot of pink, but different colours. So for mommies with girls, check out earthchild they have very cute little items, I am so excited. Got a cute dress, a polka dot blankie, some summer baby grows...too cute. I even got a matching dress for big sister. This is so exciting

It was quite a chilly weekend. Would have been nice to spend it relaxing at home, but alas I had to work.

@LouiseMarie - glad you're feeling better. I saw that the branch of Clicks I work at was out of stock of the sleep sack when I arrived on Sunday. I hope they get more - I really would like to get that one!

@Lauz - thanks for sharing. You look like staying healthy

@HVDB - 28 weeks today Into the third trimester we go! I'm quite jealous of you going on a walk, although I have still been active. I'm worried that tiredness is starting to hit again though (and backache )

I saw my doctor this morning. Elle is looking good, although still in breech position. Dr says the position of the placenta might make it difficult for her to turn, but we'll wait and see. Her head measurement was bigger than her belly this time She even has a little bit of hair on her head.






I weighed a little less today when I weighed myself at the doctor's room as opposed to my last weigh at gym last week. About 600g less. I was expecting to have gained more. But Elle as - she's just shy of 1.1kg Then booked my bed (will do labour ward tour with antenatal class) and had to go for more bloodtests.

Otherwise DH and I are off for our babymoon on Wednesday. Dr says there's no issue with travelling. We're going to Hogsback for two nights, hoping for some snow because I've never experienced it. Then on Saturday morning we're going to the Baby Sense newborn workshop. Wasn't planning on attending that one, but my antenatal class midwife had a discount voucher so I figured 50% off the tickets is a good enough reason to go! Hoping the goody bag is decent and holding thumbs that I might win a prize.

HVDB - that is awesome!!! We're doing the same by inviting the whole "family" and not just the mommies... that way, DH can also feel part of things. The biggest headache now is deciding WHEN to have it, but we'll have it @ home.

Gheez...hats off to you for doing a 8km walk!!! I'm 22weeks and struggling just to get through shopping!
