@HVDB - my DH also loves putting his hand on my belly! If he wakes up during the night at all he says that he usually checks to see if he can feel her moving.

I've had two dreams about my little one, but both have been a girl! But they didn't leave me with warm fuzzies Probably were an expression of some of the anxiety I have for being a parent (that I might be distant or miss out on too much of her life).

LM thats true, i used to dream am having a girl but nope.

HVDB, there's an old wives tale where they say you'll have the opposite gender of what you dream of...

In both my cases it stated true! With my first and now with my second: I only dreamed of boys

Hi Girls, so I had my scan last week and monkey is doing fine, growing so quick and is about 800g already. So hubby and I finally agreed on a name if it is a girl... Cara... meaning Darling/Beloved ... but we might still change our minds. Baby is still moving a lot, DH really enjoy feeling baby at night when we are in bed reading, he can't wait to put his hand on my belly.

Are any of you struggling with pain in your ribs, I really battle with it on my right side just below my breast. I feel that I can not wear a bra or anything tight around my ribs, the problem with that is that my nipples are really sensitive when not wearing a bra, so I end up with cotton pads stick it with plasters just to avoid wearing a bra.... I have found some stretch exercises that help, but I can only stretch for so long. Other than that, no issues here.

Oh I had another vivid dream last night, I dreamed that I gave birth and it was a boy, straight after birth I held him tight on my naked chest, and he was so tiny. I immediately fell in love! The smell, the feel everything was so real that I was sort of disappointed to wake up and not have baby with me.

As for the weather its this wind its so cold. Thank goodness for heaters although I don't seem to be feeling the cold as much as the other people, my internal insulation has finally kicked in

@LM am having my scan today my appointment is at 16hoo and its cold in joburg today!!!
Yesterday it was just one of those days that my baby had no interest moving whatsover, he did move but for some reason not as much as i wanted him to and it got me worried a bit, i don't know if it was because of my scan today or what because i do have those kind of days and never worry but yesterday i was, but then at 20h00 he started and never stopped i had to just sit up until 23h00 j couldnt sleep at all
