@Pillpusher - hearing was scheduled for today at 9am.

My gynae however booked me off till end of this month with severe stress during pregnancy, so my hearing has been postponed.

I can't say more than this at the current time, as they are definitely keeping an eye on this forum as it was on my internet history and marked as "favourite".

My legal representative feels very positive however! :cheer:

Hi all

@LouiseMarie - wasn't it your hearing on Friday? Or is it this Friday?

@Kimmy - good luck with the heartburn. I would rather leave it up to the gynae to give anything extra because I don't have experience with using anything other than the standard antacids and Gaviscon. I've also been getting some heartburn, but fortunately it hasn't been too bad.

@Leewe - as with the heartburn, I also can't recommend anything because I have no experience with use of zolpidem in pregnancy so please speak to your gynae if it's really bad.

@Lauz - any news on your LG's ear?

Kimmy, talk to him...cause from here on out it will only get worse

I can remember sleeping upright in my 3rd trimester with an empty bottlte, cause my heartburn would literally just "push up" into my mouth... :tmi:

So over this weekend I finally noticed thickening of my waistline...and my belly has most definitely "popped" and harden. Even if I lay down now my belly stands up :cheer:

Even DH said yesterday "something happened" overnight!

Other than that I'm  the movements!!! It's getting quite hard now and she's lying with her head down and her bums and feet curled under my ribs...it's the weirdest little kicks when she kicks me there.

She's also quite a fiesty little girl... whenever I turn around at night and she neefs to shift position that is not comfortable for her or she needs to change position, she will make such n fuss about it! She will kick and turn all over the show to let me know I've now interupted her.

From yesterday morning I've had terrible hamstring pulls... Even if I go sit on the loo it is painfull as the seat presses against them. Feels like I've done a whole day's of squats... Not nice at all!!!

Leewe, my gynae prescribed me some Adco-Zolpidem - it's a "sleeping" tablet that is apparently safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. You take half a tablet 20-30 minutes before bedtime and then it will just calm and relax you. She says with breastfeeding you'll still wake up when needed and be alert, but the moment you get back into bed you'll be able to return to sleep.

I haven't used mine yet, as the chamomile tea still works like a bomb for me. I have however noticed that taking an afternoon nap messes up my schedule...

When I feel like I need some "assistance" with the chamomile tea, I just take 2 panado's.

Kimmy, I also saw now - I suffered from an ulcer before being pregnant and last 2 weeks I was scared it might start up again. My gynae prescribed Omez 10mg.She said it's specifically for heartburn, but it will also help with ulcer symptoms. Also safe during pregnancy.

So if your heartburn is really bad and nothing helps, talk to your dr/gynae about something to help.
