Juanita, you took the words out of my mouth... WTF... @LM surely they can't suspend you without giving you the reason for the suspension! Just be and stay strong LM, I honestly hope this is going to go your way and you end up back at work and the other person dismissed. Office politics can be such a :swear: Will keep you in my prayers that all works out the way it should!

Hi moms...

I'm in a bit of an emotional state.

I was informed this morning that I have been suspended from work.

No idea as to why! There was a grievance issued against me last week from a colleague I've prior problems with, as well as reported on several occasions to my Director. Turns out she fabricated the allegations against me, cause there was no evidence found and I was cleared from any wrongdoing.

I've always received praise for my high quality of work from my Director, other management as well as fellow colleagues.

They cant tell me the reasons and just said that it's pending further investigation.

I've thought of each and every possible scenario, but can't think of ANY etongdoing...

So now the question is raised - is this discrimination because of my pregnancy?!

Cause I honestly can't think of anything!!!

I advised HR that I was going to lay a charge of victimization against the colleague who laid the allegation against me - as this is the 3rd time she's been behind something like this, yet everytime I've been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Certainly they should start seeing a pattern?!

Yet, I'm the one who has now been placed on suspension eventhough I was cleared of any wrongdoing....

I'm in such a state!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your infection LouiseMarie, sooo not nice!! I always use Medaspor for my lg, her fanfan goes red from swimming in winter. the warm water is a breading ground for germs :S

@LizMauer my lg was 2.6kg and 52cm. Long little monkey. At the fetal assessment the dr said this baby will be just like her sister, long and skinny.

@Kimmy, not sure about the belly binder but its DEF on my shopping list. ive only seen the expensive ones (R500) But if it works it will be worth the price!!

UTI feeling bit better today (after spending most of yesterday on the loo flushing out my system) but my pubic bone still sore so im giving the tissue salts a try today!

If you've had that then I don't see it being an issue to use the OTC vaginal creams. You get single and multidose applications, but the single dose isn't always that effective. You may need to wear a pantyliner if it makes you feel a bit uncomfortable. To my knowledge you can get Gyno pevaryl pessaries OTC. If you're in doubt then give your gynae a call (or is he/she one of those doctors that charges for things like that too?).

The active ingredient (econazole) in the Gyno Pevaryl is a higher risk category for pregnancy than the clotrimazole so the risk doesn't seem to be too high to me.

It sucks!

My gynae prescribed me Gyno pervaro or something like that in the beginning of my pregnancy cause I had blood in my urine and she had to put me on antibiotics to fight a bladder infection - it contains 3 suppositories, but was priced @ over R400 for the 3 applications!!!

I used the last application this morning...

Unfortunately it's "inside" :( And it's horrible! Resembling chunky cottage cheese texture :tmi: Luckily it doesn't smell, but it just feel "gagga"...
