Hi Preggy fairies

Hope you are all good, I am well, not much happening on my side.

I will be working this Easter, Financial year end :(

@clueless, happy house hunting, I don't miss those days :) I hated cases where you see a house on show and its perfect , exactly wat you are looking for, then yu see the price :woohoo: and you slowly moon-walk out of the house. Also subscribe to the different agents so yu get notifications when they post new houses for sale, we viewed and signed an offer for ours during the week, by the time the sale finalized there was like 3 OTP waiting incase we ddnt secure financing.

Well due date, not sure yet but according to the birthdate calculator, its the 27th of November , however I will confirm end of May as I am only seeing my gynae then. It so far away, don't know how I will last.

Enjoy the rest of your day ladies

Morning ladies!

How is everyone this morning? What are you doing for Easter? (We are staying home and doing househunting :( )

We should maybe start a list off all the ladies and due dates? This is what I have so far:

HoopVirDieBeste - Around 19/20 October?
pillpusher - Around 19/20 October?
Me - 14 Nov (but will be earlier due to me having a C-sect)
Lauz.Mayer - 20 Nov

zo3sta, lillyr, Happy1, Candypops, do you have dates yet?

hi ladies

So went to gynae this morning did first external scan quite blur but could see something then she did an internal scan. Amazing to see heart flickering and hearing heart beat we forgot to take picture or record sound....:woohoo: we opted not to do the 13 week fetal testing. So next appointment is in 8 weeks time.
had rhesus factor with my first baby so have to check bloods but that's done through GP medical aid doesn't cover it of gynae requests anything.
Other than that all good, tummy just really bloated.

Married 2/4/11
1st pregnancy HPT 8/10/12
Son born 37 weeks all natural 17/5/13
2nd pregnancy HPT 12/3/15
MC @10 weeks 10/04/15

TTC for 2016 baby

Hi all. So looks like me and hoopvirdiebeste have the same due date since I'm 11 weeks, one day today. Took leave this week because I've just been feeling tired (and with maternity leave timing I don't need to worry as much about December shut down leave B) )
I had blood taken for screening at my 8 week scan, am going for the screening scan next Thursday. Was exceptionally worked up and nervous about it last Thursday, but am feeling better now. I'm only 28 so risk is lower, but I'm a worrywart by nature and pregnancy seems to have only heightened that.
I'm getting really annoyed with excessive saliva... And my food aversions! I'm trying to drink enough fluids, but not keen on water at the moment and now am going off my fruit juice concentrate :pinch:
Hope everyone else is doing well.

@HoopVirDieBeste, congrats on your upcoming wedding! :woohoo: We are also quite concerned about chromosomal abnormalities, but trying to take things one step at a time, else one would just die of worrying over everything. It is so overwhelming!

I have two friends at work who conceived with assisted pregnancies, one lady was 38 with hubby 48 and the other lady 46 with hubby 40. Both had twins :woohoo: and absolutely normal, no health issues. So that gives me some peace of mind.

Just for information sake, the Panorama is a blood test, non-invasive, and done at 9 weeks of pregnancy. It is quite new, it was not an option in SA yet when I became pregnant with my little girl (now 2,5 years old). The sample is sent away to the US, which probably accounts for the cost. We are very seriously considering it, and it will also be nice for me to know the gender right from the start. Then I can tell my little girl whether she will be getting a little brother, or a little sister. :P
