Morning all!!
Welcome Aden and Chrys83, nice to have you join us!
Just shy of 9 weeks today. @Lillir and Aden, I am just as tired

I didn't have this with my previous pregnancy (maybe because I was exercising more) but by the time I pick up my LG from nursery school and get home, I am ready to just pass out on the couch. For this whole week I have been letting her watch Disney movies (Tinker Bell, Tangled etc) for an hour or more, while I just veg out. I do feel very guilty, but at least I know it is good quality TV with nice music

My hubby has been a saint and made lasagna's and stews over the weekend, so I can just defrost and put in the oven when I'm too tired to cook.
We made an offer on a nice house 2 nights ago, and waiting to hear now. VEry exciting and exhausting! @Happy1, I laughed till my insides hurt for your "moonwalking" comment, that is so true, and I have done that many times. I got all tearful over the weekend about all the ugly places we got to see, and I don't want to move there! This place is very nice though, but the garden will need a LOT of work. Holding thumbs, and the pressure is on to now sell our current house.
@Lauz.mayer, I have heard great things about Prof Nicolau, when we used to live in Pretoria. Unfortunately I'm in Jhb now, for the last 7 years... We have decided to do the Panorama test after all, mostly due to my age, so I will be going for bloods next Monday. It costs approximately R7000, but my mom has kindly offered to pay half (we are SOOO grateful!). We should have results by about 11 weeks, in 2 weeks' time. Scary, but I would rather know than not know. I will let you all know afterwards if I think it is worth it.
HoopVirDieBeste, all of the best for today and tomorrow. If it helps, I asked my gynae with my last pregnancy if stress would be detrimental and he said I didnt need to worry. At the time I was flying to Cape Town on business almost weekly and I am terrified of flying, so I was really worried. I also get the bloatedness, it's horrible. Dont feel pregnant, just fat

I had that with my last pregnancy too. BTW I am also up for a C-sect, due to my LG being a sortof emergency C-sect. I went to gynae for my 38 week checkup and the non-stress test showed that she was running low on oxygen, so he told me to go get my bag and come back that afternoon for C-sect. I much preferred it that way, since I would have driven myself mad waiting at home for another 1-2 weeks. I had a very good experience with the C-sect, had no trouble with breastfeeding or baby blues afterwards, and not a lot of pain, so I am happy to go that route again.
Anyways ladies, have a wonderful day, and let us know how things are going!
