Hi Ladies!
I did a LOONG post last night and it got wiped by my phone
Lauz, gorgeous pics! And your belly looks really pretty, I can't believe you are as far as me and looking so awesome!
Zandri, I'm in the same boat! Im 1.79m exactly, and hubby is 1.92m. But my first LG was born at 2.8kg and is actually quite petite (though tall for her age now). Baby was measuring big up to 30 weeks (75th percentile) and I thought we were going to have a sturdy little girl this time, but at 32 weeks she was also 1.9kg. So waiting anxiously for my 34 week scan to see. I haven't picked up ANY weight in the last 3 weeks so am a bit worried. But I really struggle to eat, especially with this heat...
PP that little baby Jack is the most gorgeous and cute soft toy I have ever seen

I showed it to hubby last night and he is smitten, absolutely LOVES it. We're going to have to google some online shopping to see if it is available somewhere!

Regarding the in-laws, I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. My in-laws are also excellent at turning tables on us and emotional blackmail, and the one time we had a sit-down with them and discussed how much their actions hurt my hubby didnt really change things. At least they don't make us have family discussions about our perceived behaviour

I really don't envy you that. (My MIL is much more prone to sending scathing emails about our behaviour). I agree, all you can do is try and be honest with them, and pray. And I hope in your case the prospect of a new little grandchild will change their mindsets too. I'm sure they will go to some great lengths to attend the birth, once the situation has cooled down a bit. Holding thumbs that they do.
I can now confirm that Netcare charges R350 per check-up. I did go in yesterday, after the weekend's cramping and pain and then yesterday I felt very little fetal movement, so I thought better safe than sorry. It is worth every penny to hear that little heartbeat!! LG was doing fine, I don't have a UTI and they couldn't pick up any contractions while I was there. So, all clear for now, massive relief!
Anyway ladies, hope you have a great (albeit very HOT for the Gauteng ladies) day!
