I'm not too worried about baby's weight. It's an estimate mostly.

The aches of pregnancy hey... I'm so uncomfortable now I struggle to turn around at night.

Thank you so much ladies! It helps a lot to get some ball park ideas.

After a lot of thought I decided to not make an already huge thing, bigger by going to a doctor an hour from where we live - so found one of the local doctors who is still reasonable with his attitude towards trying natural birth first. So will see him for my general check-up and see how we get on :)

Just thinking now - odd but some of the Cape Town ladies I might even know on some threads without realising - I'm a photographer, do quite a bit of newborn shoots :)

Thanks again!

Hope you all have amazing births & enjoy your little bundles! :)

My lb is also head down and I actually forgot to mention to everyone I asked my gynae about this odd sharp pain I get now and then just above my vagina. She says its can most certainly be round ligaments stretching. She said if I felt it right into my vagina it would be a different story.

So apparently you can still have round ligament pain at this stage as well.

So Aden you and I are both due on the same day. I don't feel so bad now with my lb being 2.08kg to be exact. Although gynae did say at last scan and this one he might come mid November.

@emj16 My gynae's first visit was R1200 en each visit after she charges R580. I am with Dr Dalla at Cape Gate MediClinic in Brackenfell, Cape Town. Discovery covers most of the costs. Dr Dalla is amazing and I would definitely recommend her. We used Dr Lou Pistorious at Panorama MediClinic for the specialist scans and he charges R1400 which Discovery also covered a good deal of. I can't remember what my blood tests cost, but I'll go check.
Our antenatal sister said Clicks Pharmacy's vaccinations are well priced if you take the government option.

@Zandri. I went for my 32 week checkup today. I am precisely 32 weeks today and my baby is 1.9kg. Doctor says she is in the normal range and she is very happy with her progress. Her head has moved into my pelvis so I hope it stays that way! Haha that is why I have such terrible hip and lower back pain the last week.
