Hi ladies,
Thank you so much for the well wishes! Disappointing news, saw the Dr this morning and despite my painful contractions at night, and placenta that's calcifying he decided to wait till Monday

I'm SO bummed! I know it's better for baby but I'm just so gatvol at this stage. Got all worked up last night, worrying that baby won't be normal or that I'll die on the operating table (yeah, I'm a regular little ray of sunshine when I stress

) and all that stress for nothing.
It has been a hectic week. Sorry for being so quiet. My parents were here, so my mom could "help" with my LG while she has bronchitis, but my mom is still sensitive about the baby name and taking everything the wrong way. I ended up dealing with two cranky older people and a VERY cranky toddler, whom my mom keeps insisting is just very spoilt and naughty for moaning and crying all the time, and I should just spank her bum. She has bronchitis, for crying in a bucket!!! So they left this morning in a huff about something I said or did, that she took the wrong way last night. I feel really bad about it but at least now I can spend a couple days with hubby and LG in peace, before baby comes.
Will do personals in my next post but just want to say, PP don't be so hard on yourself!! What I did with my LG was to buy a sensitive digital kitchen scale, for something like R500 at Boardmans. It can weigh up to 5kg and I was able to see if she picked up weight. Took a lot of stress off me,
Mommies, just a thought, but don't you want to start a whatsapp group? So much easier to chat on late at night and ask immediate advice than a forum...
