Hi Lilly!!!
I was considering actually printing a shirt that said "YES, I'm pregnant! Now stop staring - it's rude!"
As for the bag - I know it differs fron region to region, but at my hospital tour, the bag had the following in: huggies newborn nappies, wipes, cariwell maternity pads, sample products of baby wash, powder, cream etc - it's usefull stuff that you will actually use.
With packing the bags, I packed 2 long sleeve cotton babygrows, 2 short sleeve play rompers, 2 onesies and 1 going home outfit. 2 receiving blankets (Netcare for some reason wraps baby in that horrible netcare towels @ birth), 1 fancy blanket.
I've also packed a beanie (just in case), some hand mittens for scratching and some newborn socks.
Also put some burping cloths in and my breastfeeding shawl should she want to feed during visiting hours, nipple cream, gripe water, sample powder, bum cream etc... I only use the Elizabeth Anne's Purity Special Baby Wash on baby's delicate newborn skin - so that's the only "all in one" wash I have (wash & shampoo).
For me I've got the Oh So Heavenly Sleep Collection. It's not an overwhelming smell and also very calming.
I'm more confused on what clothes to pack myself to wear going home... last time I just wore the same clothes I wore going to hospital.
Lauz, according to all the apps, baby should be 2.7kg @ 36 weeks. So I also think Larissa is more or less there, but knowing that Elmarise was 3.73kg @ 37 weeks - I'm preparing myself for maybe 3kg - only because my belly is much smaller this time around, than my first time.
