C-Sec mommies again please:

When you went in to theatre or when they did the internal exam beforehand, did they give you the "chill pill" to calm & relax or the Morphine pill?

They gave it to me and I hated the way that pill made me feel... like I was on some sort of drug trip! They told me it was a pill just to take the "edge" off, as I was already in active labour, but it made me feel so whoozy and out of it...

Did any of you had it? I'm going to tell my dr I don't want that stuff near me, this time around... The spinal was fine - no funny reaction whatsoever, but that small white pill - gheez... not nice!

I only found out when my daughter broke her arm, that the pill was morphine, as they administered it to her in casualties "to take the edge off". If it had such an effect on me, I can only imagine how it must have knocked her!!!

We had a not too bad night. Fed Larissa at 12, 3, 4 and now again at 8. So got some sleep atleast

Aaaah man... I'm sooooooooo ready to have this baby!!! Sick & tired doesn't even start to describe how I feel now! I guess ticking off the photoshoot as my final "To Do" has made me realize there's nothing else except the birth to anticipate now...

Oh my goodness... what a busy day!!!!!!!!!!

My shoot started @ 3pm and we only finished up at 6pm... We had the shoot at the university's agriculture plantation, so from 3-5 it was so damn HOT and constant sun, but then from 5-6 when it was a bit cooler, I was physically and emotionaly so dead tired!!!!!! And Larissa could feel it too, cause she was kicking up a storm.

Luckily the photographer was so pleasant and jovial and I really had a great time!

Tonight however, I'm going to sleep like a baby... missed out on my afternoon nap

Lol, DH suprised me by arranging the maid & gardner for tomorrow... Won't say it loud, but I'm sooooooooooo relieved!!!

Zandri, from what I've heard and read (and what I've done with Elmarise), you shouldn't wake a baby for feeding as you're interfering with their cycle and baby does his/her "growing"/developing whilst sleeping... Don't shoot the messenger!

Sleeping hours for Cara does not correspond as in the womb, I remember that during the day or when I was busy she was asleep (my movements rocked het room sleep) and then when I sat down or went to bed she would be busy...
