Hi Ladies,

Im good today. Just finished cooking. Some chaos in my visa. Tats freaking me out.

how are u all doing?

Anyone thought about saving umbilical cord and placenta for stem cell purpose or planning to donate it?

Im thinking to donate it so that it could be helpful for someone who needs it.

Zaza do eat a little portion on my behalf from Nandos :-)

Morning pregnant ladies

Hope you are all well today?

Lashy, they need to give you a concession card for discounts at Nando's cause you definitely driving up their profits, lol. I am probably doing nando's for lunch today cause you have made me crave it all week

We also had load shedding but they organised here goes off as planned on schedule from 20h00 - 22h00 just missing our regular slots for certain series on TV but otherwise it's a good family bonding time!!

@Nisha I think having positive thoughts and communicating to baby as soon as possible is awesome!!!

So any of you ladies thought about ideas for fathers day? My dad is late and FIL lives far away but I try and to something for my hubby from me and my daughter and obviously from the new baby now, amazing to think we gonna be a family of 4 soon!!

Hello ladies,

Got my next check up only by 19th. Feeling better now. No morning sickness. Can feel some vibrations inside my tummy. Its so weird and nice.

And i had few advises from my aunts that talking to baby with good and happy thoughts actually can be felt by the baby and baby will get all positive vibrations. so sometimes i try to talk to my baby. It would few more weeks for baby to recognize sounds and voices. But i started.

I miss going to work so much. I was a software tester and had to quit when i had to move to joburg. Now its like baby is gonna change our lives and i feel like i wont get chance to work hereafter. this thought drives me nuts. I dont now why.

@Lashy - Glad ur daughter is doing good. Join the club. Today i went for a 30 min walk though. i lived in bryanston near eton park. if u worked in the office complexes around someday u should have seen a indian lady walking by :P . Im only indian in that street harrison avenue and i used to walk to main road to take gautrain bus to sandton mall and used to walk to bryanston organic market through the campus.

@Happi - I too had the frequent visit to rest room. Never been so even in early weeks. but for past two days its fine. Urge to pee and not sufficient to come is okay. But if u feel any pain, plz get on more fluids. It could be UTI. Do drink lot of water. Its very essential.

Also keep eating for every two hrs. and night drink milk. it helps in the morning. U should be okay during 5th month. Dont worry Try sickness band too.

@Zee - Managed to walk today. And sorry abt getting back to work. I know how it could be. But good ur hubby got flight tickets. Thank ur boss for tat. Everyone having nandos except me :-(. Share pix after photo shoot
Travel safe.

@Nix - Cute pics. Im waiting for my 20th week scan. hope i get to see all the stretching.

@Carmy - Sleep how much ever u feel like. Its normal. I slept 2 days through except the dining time where my husband woke my because i need to eat and take tablets. Take low intensity exercises. First trimester we need to be careful since the baby is making strong space in is territory.

@Zaza - Planning for preggy role. But cant get one here and thinking to get one after i come there. But i have kinda cramp like pain in my lower back that makes me unable to turn or get up. Looks like some ligament streches. Had left side for past 2 weeks. From today right side. Gonna talk about it with my gyno during next visit.

Wish u all happy friday and weekend :-)

Hi ladies, how r u all doing..........

I'm not feeling too bad today except the cold winter in the Northern cape.

My plan for today was to go to work and attend all my morning meetings then sneak out without anyone noticing n heard to jhb, my boss had approved my leave for tomorrow n MOnday #green lights :P B) . My intercape ticket was ready n the bus to leave at 11:25 this morning, colleague was dropping me off by the bus stop, on the way there phone rings guess who  my boss. panic panic, Zee where are you these guys from Germany are here to meet u regarding ur project.............say what?? but its next week Thursday..............?? turned back, went home changed quick into mine gear...off to the meeting  . so ya ladies, never sneak out of work lol, rather hint to ur boss u might be leaving early but not when you special visitors lol and do a proper diary for all ur meetings.

Anywho I missed my bus but apparently pregnant woman get away with anything, hubby just purchased a flight ticket so I can still be home tonight :P but i'm still moaning over my ticket.

@ Lashy I'll be having nandos tonight....so happy :). Glad ur nana is all well now.

@ Zaza- the first nut scare for me was from a colleague who totally freaked out when I was eating peanut butter......so amazing. I then googled the dangers but apparently in the olden days women were advised not to consume peanuts if they had a family history of allergies such as such as asthma, eczema, or hayfever but later in the years this was rather ignored due to lack of evidence that eating peanuts with increase ur baby's risks of allergy. So I would say....maybe reduce ur intake of peanut butter just to be safe but its so gud...........

Have a lovely weekend ladies, 1 more day till my baby's photo shoot, hope everything is fine. I'll give u guys updates next week.
Have a great one and keep warm.

U know Zaza I also read somewhere that if you eat too much nuts during your pregnancy the baby might develop an allergy towards nuts..

But now when I read its all clear for mums-to-be to eat peanut butter and other food containing nuts.

I also ate peanut butter toast through-out my 1st pregnancy. With Milo :)
