Hi Lashy

Glad to hear your little girl is doing better, I have heard about the deworming story, I have only ever done it once, causes no reaction, they just drink a teaspoon of the stuff and let their system do the rest.

Hmmm you really do have a choice when it comes to eating, wow. I travel a lot so have to always pack a lunch and snack box.

So ladies hope you are all well, I have a question about peanut butter????

This is my favourite in between snack just peanut butter on hot toast, for those midnight or early morning pangs or when I'm lazy to cook immediately, I usually down it with some milk.

Yesterday I said to my colleagues that I am feeling so much for peanut butter toast and one colleague freaked out on me telling me it's not safe to eat peanut butter when you pregnant cause the baby can have an allergic reaction? Is this true, anyone heard this before?

Honestly I ate peanut butter in my first pregnancy and have eaten it all through out my current pregnancy just curious if any of you have heard this story before?

Update on my daughter. She is doing much better now.

Think she had a bug coz she was vomiting but only on Sunday. Pharmacist prescribed some flu meds to coz her nose was constantly running and she had a terrible cough.

Anyway he also gave some deworming medication
Apparently kids need to be dewormed like every six months to cleanse the system...

Did you know that? Lol

Thanks Zaza, I'll have a look to see what I can find.

@Lashy, I stopped smoking when I found out I was preggers - It was my plan right from the beginning that I would only ever smoke until I feel pregnant - So I am done for good (Only 2weeks in though - LOL).

Try the Allen Carr book, I believe its amazing - I haven't gotten round to finishing it yet though. I have attached it, hopefully you can download it.

Hello Ladies

Hope you are all well today?

I have had a busy day today but actually feeling quiet normal, had baby moving a lot last night no one else can feel baby yet but I am sure they will soon. this one is a lot more active than my first born.

@Carmy your pics a too cute, and a whole lot more to come, enjoy each one as they are so special. I have a prenatal pilates DVD don't know what it's called but Dsichem and CNA have so many to choose from maybe just shop around a bit.

@ Nix wow those are gorgeous pics you can even see babies facial structure. I am glad baby is well, how are you doing? hope you get well soon.

@Zee if it's twins, you can close shop for sure after that!! In read somewhere that generally is mom to be dreams about the gender or how many babies, generally mom is correct, never heard much if the extended family dream about it, but its cute at least you know your brother is thinking about you.

@Happi sorry to hear the nausea has not left yet, eating regularly does help, my nausea left just as heart burn arrived, I mean I drink water I get heart burn, eat anything I get heart burn, had the same with my first pregnancy, and every one told me my baby will have lotsa hair, and really she did, as a new born we were able to make little pony tails of her hair after birth, lol. I am still waking up at least 3 times at night to go to the loo and yes nothing bearly comes outs, sleep distrupted and tired and can't fall asleep. I now trying to pee at least every 15 minutes before bed time and stop drinking liquids an hour before as well, has helped but I get so thirsty then lose the battle.

@Lashy howz your daughter feeling? hmmmm nando's you making me hungry...................can't judge you about smoking but I can scare you about the dangers, lol. No seriously the only person I know who successfully gave up smoking is my 68 year old aunt, she got sick and had a lump in her throat which turned out to be nothing (3 years ago) but it scared her so much she switched from cigarettes to menthol smoothies, those seen through round sweets, whenever she felt for a cigarette she sucked on a sweet and eventually kicked the habit, not sure if sweets are the best for pregnancy so maybe ask you gynae there must be something safe to take as a supplement.

@Nisha I have a preggy roll from my last pregnancy, it can go around my head, tummy, hips and legs and it helps when you get heavier, I also have the half size one that helps with feeding baby, but using normal pillows help as well. I found when I was in my last few months my legs got so heavy I would just plop them on hubby and he carried the weight. lol

In my last 2 months my tummy was so heavy, at night I used to wake hubby up and tell him roll me over cause I physically could not turn myself alone, and also half your body falls asleep.

It's mid week, almost the week end, we are going for the Clicks Baby bootcamp in Durban this Saturday, I hope it's worth while.

Good Morning All :)

My next appointment is on the 22nd - Can't wait to be done with the first trimester, though, I don't have much to complain about - Haven't had any morning sickness or anything, I am just sleeping ALOT.. 10-11 hours a night (Its amazing!!)

Well done Zaza for keeping up the exercise, I am trying to keep my routine going. Hubby and I got married in March (Yes, a honeymoon baby - LOL) and before the wedding I was doing intense work-out sessions 4 times a week.

I have now decreased the intensity to walking and cycling only, and I am trying for at least twice a week. I would love to get back into pilates though - Does anyone know of any good Prenatal Pilates DVD's?

Have a lovely Wednesday all

P.S. I have attached pics from my 6week and 8week scans

Baby was really active, stretching, touching face and body. Couldn't get a nice view of the sex though.
