Hi Ladies,

Nnita, I see you and I are in the same group this year as well. I had my Mc in Nov last year and I remember you from the group.

I know I haven't been very active in this group but I have been receiving all notifications and seeing the developments of your little ones. My next scan is on 3 Nov, we're having a baby boy.

I see your baby is growing nicely Nnita, I can't wait to see my AngelFace. Funny when I saw that yours is weighing a whopping 1,5kg at 29 weeks - I thought of all the "tiny baby" clothe I nearly bought at Ackermans early in the week.
With East London being so small, we'll probably end up next to each other in the maternity ward as well swell, we probably go to the same gynae

I can relate to the 3 point turn. I sleep with a continental pillow on my back, I am so tired when I get home after work but am up at 2am every morning again.

Good afternoon ladies

Thank you Pokkeltjie for the birthday wish, Lethu happy birthday to you too my dear.

I just came back from my scan and everything went well, she was lazy to hide today so managed to get a glimpse of her face...she has chubby cheeks and was kicking all the time. Weighing 1.35KG AT 29 weeks, my next appointment was supposed to be the 29 November but I opted for the 30th...the 29th is when I did my evacuation after my mc last year.

Cuma so me and you are due around the same time, I can feel the pressure now on my abdomen and I have joined the 3 point turn group as well when turning and getting off bed.

Blood pressure is very normal since I suffer from low blood, so when pregnant it goes up to normal and my doc is happy, next visit I will book my bed thought they have given me the form already.

Bea how are your boys doing...our first babies for this group

Cuma what is the global scan fee ?

Spirited mama how did your scan go.

Nothing much on my side the only thing I see is my bed. Had a busy week already and hoping its going to get better soon. I am forever tired even though the weather is beautiful in East London, its raining nicely.

Don't be too hard on yourself....the last few months is when you pick up the most weight as baba is growing at a rapid speed and also putting on some fat. I know it sounds a lot but if you think of all the things that make up that 4kg it is not so bad...
We're pregnant after all and it take a lot to have a little person growing inside of you!

So sorry to hear about your hubby's accident - hope he is alright and glad that all his tests came back fine

@ Bea - aaahhh a huge congrats Bea! Your boys are absolutely precious...and can't believe they weighed so much for premie twins! I pray that God will keep them safe and send his Angels to look over them and that they will get stronger and stronger with each passing day! Thinking of you xx

@ Nels_n - comfy sleeping positions seems to be a thing of the past for all of us Shame...try and get enough rest

Cuma - I am so feeling this heat at least there is a little relief today, kept saying to dh - "who's idea was it to fall pregnant in summer', I haven't had to pay a global scan fee , Enjoy ur 4D scan on Saturday , hope you can post some nice pics for us.

Nels - I hope you enjoyed your shopping how is the sleeping going , any better?

AFM - dr appointment went well yesterday all is looking good , got the forms to fill book my hospital bed , Dr is still fine with us doing natural so hopefully that doesn't change, was disappointed that I put on 4 kg in the last 8 weeks so am going to try and be good for the next couple of weeks , on the down side Hubby had a car accident yesterday afternoon , looks like his car will be written off and its only 5 months old , spent the afternoon in the ER doing Xrays and ECG's but luckily they all came back clear , luckily I wasnt in the car with him , think that would have been a problem as both airbag exploded.
Next appointment is on the 28th of Nov.

hope everybody is doing well, JHB is much better today, there has been a heat wave the last few days making it hard to sleep , i have been taking cold showers just to keep my body cooler



@Bea how are you and the babies doing hope they growing strong and healthy.


AFM ,been having a sharp pain in my left hip , making it difficult to wake especially at night when i have to go to the loo .i went for a scan yesterday my lil men is growing ,couldn't see his face properly coz he had both his feet in front of his face weighing 1,5kgs @ 29 weeks and 3 days. just wondering has anyone had to pay a global scan fee of R1500 before EDD. Am going for a 4D scan on saturday at Brenthurst hospital, my next scan will be on the 21/11/2016

Woow Bea I don't know what to say just that may God guide and protect them as they grow bigger and becoming strong. We are with you in our prayers.

Tomorrow is my birthday, only now I wish I took a day off .
