Lethu I slept on time and woke up for my midnight snack and I was indulging on all the sweet stuff, trust me I slept immediately after that.

Simmy you are hillarious, the way you write is making me laugh, I envy you for feeling that good.

Gontse I have not gained much weight all the food and goodies goes to my LB and I am planning to shred all this weight after baby, last time I tool longer to lose weight. I was just clueless about lots of things.

Spirited Mama, I am booking the 4D scan as well...that's if I dont change my mind.

First time mom yes I was on the group last year, look where we are...indeed God is a good God and we should forever be thankful.

Nothing much on my side, trust me I am having another slice of cake and we are enjoying it...not even feeling guilty about it.

Debbie so sorry to hear about your husband, thank God he is ok, all the best with the car process I was there few months ago.

Sorry I have been so quiet lately. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would be going away during the week and only home over the weekends - well I am officially back home now and it will be easier for me to keep up with posting here as I have WiFi again I have been keeping up with all the posts

Firstly I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS Bea on the birth of your 2 beautiful boys!!! I am so happy that they stayed in so long and that they have been doing well so far. I can't wait to read your updates and follow their progress! Strength and prayers for your journey forward!

DebbieF and Pokkeltjie - What 4d scan are you talking about, does the hospital give you one when you book? Or have you booked private scans?

DebbieF - I am considering cloth nappies! At least part time (when I'm home with him), what brands are you looking at? Glad your hubby is not injured, but sorry about the car

NnitaN - Happy birthday! I'm glad you enjoyed your scan today, and what a big LO you have in there! That is so wonderful for your family that you have a little mini version of your cousin! And I hope you are still enjoying the midnight snacks!

Lethuwam - Happy birthday! We have been getting a pack of nappies each month from our mom's, so we haven't bought any ourselves yet but it is a good idea. Some will say you must be careful of the brands because different babies react differently to each brand, so maybe make sure you get a variety? CONGRATULATIONS on team pink, we needed a bit more pink on this group to even things out a bit

AnaB - She is so gorgeous! I love the pics, and she totally looks like a pretty little girl to me, aaah!

gontse1 - Congratulations on reaching the 3rd trimester! The time is really flying, it's scaring me!

Nels_n - Which brand of cloth nappies do you use? I really want to use cloth after I have finished all the nappies that have been bought for us.

AFM - I am 26 weeks today and really enjoyed my scan! Baby boy is now 947g, I can't believe it. He seemed to be fast asleep with his hands up in front of his face, but we saw some cool eye movements (DR said it was probably his REM sleep) and he kept moving his mouth and little tongue! I can't believe that he's so big already and that there is just a little over 3 months to go! In some ways I CANNOT wait and in another way, I am enjoying having him in my tummy so much that I never want it to end!
Ladies, I don't want to brag but I'm feeling really great Maybe that is also why I have not really been posting. I am not part of the 3 point roll club, I can barely even feel my stomach although it is not small (measures 26.5cm)! Up until last week I was walking a few km's a day outside as part of my PhD and we sat on the ground a lot (had to examine flowers) and I would still stand up from the ground without using any hands. I sleep through the night and have very little pain, and the best of all is that I am still 3kg down from my pre-pregnancy weight! Blood pressure is literally perfect (120/80), there have been no problems picked up in any of my tests/scans Please don't hate me, ladies. It's actually starting to concern me because things seem like they are going too well. Is this normal? Will it all go downhill fast when I hit the 3rd trimester? I am peeing much more frequently than before and am also very tired in the evenings, and I also get quite a lot of Braxton Hicks but that's it. I don't even have cravings- what's wrong with me?
Baby is kicking away in there as we speak, he is so active. his kicks have actually been visible from the outside for a few weeks now, it's SO cool!
I booked my bed today and next scan is 29 November

The heatwave is a killer and wish it could rain.

Afm the scan went well baby weighs 1.2kg and so far so good with her. I booked the hospital bed as well, I have absolutely no clue what are some of the things that I need to bring with me e.g perenium cloth? I am also suffering from fatigue always feeing sleepy which by the way isn't good cos I have to study.

My 4D scan is on the 15th November and Dr's appointment is on the 22nd November

I will be 26 weeks tomorrow.

My 4D scan is booked for 24 Nov.

My next gynae appointment is 28 Nov.

Is anyone going to the Mama Magic baby expo in JHB 1-4 Dec? I am hoping that I can manage to go....they always have specials at those shows.

Everything went well yesterday with my appointment. LB is 947g, will be 26 weeks tomorrow. It seems he is growing just 3/4 days ahead of the gestational age....Dr did mention that a second baby is generally bigger than the first. Dudie was 3.4 kg at birth so here is to hoping that this LB won't go to far beyond that. All is looking good for a natural vaginal delivery again. I got to book my bed yesterday too. I have forgotten most things so the hospital staff was very friendly and helpful.
This heat in GP is a killer. Been sleeping with the air on at night. As soon as we get home in the afternoons we have the aircons on too.
I am also wide awake at 3 am but at 5 am I am dead on my feet, when I generally get up.
