Afternoon Ladies!

How is everyone doing? Hope you all had a fab weekend!

Can't believe how fast time is going and so glad that everyone's baba's are growing so nicely!
It's so amazing just thinking of far everyone has come carrying these little precious cargoes around with us.
It so wonderful to feel them move and kick everyday and to see those little features on the scans!

Not much news this side....just starting to get tired again, but think it is the little sleep I'm getting. Having hip pains almost every night now so not sleeping so comfy Other than that I just can't wait to see our little nunu tomorrow...she is kicking up a storm and sure she has a pair of very strong legs cause my tummy bounces around when she starts kicking

Yes its a repeat c sec. I will be trying for natural this time, crossing fingers that it happens. Oh how amazing that you have the date already☺ does it not feel weird though?

What is a RCS? another C-section? yip, its booked for 6 Feb, unless this one also decides to come early

Are you going to try and go natural this time round? sorry, cant always remember who is doing what

Thanks Tanya I guess I will ask the hospital staff at my next appointment. My last c sec was also an emergency at 36 weeks. Will you be having a RCS now?

I am sure you can get it from Dischem? No clue what a pain pump is, its not on my hospital list either, so not too sure what its for. I had an emergency c-sec with my first so i packed for natural birth, though I must confess, I didn't buy any perinial cloths or the salts or anything, I guess because it wasn't exactly an expected birth at the time (37 weeks). But I know you will def need those if you are going natural

The nurses will give you pain meds afterwards so I not sure what the pain pump is at all, unless its like a stress ball kind of thing for when you are in natural birth labour?

Nnita I get what you mean about being clueless the 1st time around, experience is indeed the best teacher. Before falling preggys I was on a path of losing weight and I swear that's the reason we will be welcoming a new member lol but would really love to lose weight after giving birth.

Tanya you are rather a busy bee aren't you? Thank you so where would I be able to buy the cloth? I saw they also mentioned a pain pump I assumed that was for c sec patients but what exactly is it used for? Is it important?

what kind of clothes are you ladies getting for your little ones since they will be born in Summer. I am clueless since I only had winter babies

I am with you on the busy-ness. We have our financial audit and bee audit starting in two weeks and I am also trying to train someone who will take over from me when I go on maternity so there is just not enough time in the day lol. Hope you enjoy your two breaks (lucky fish)

Not going to the Mama Magic show. The specials really aren’t that great, you can still get nappies for cheaper than the show specials on takealot. I have gone twice, and really wasn’t impressed the last time, plus the q’s are terrible. The only time I go is with a free ticket and only to go watch the Barney Show with my daughter lol. Just check the website closer to the time as they should have the babycity specials online, then you can see if its worth going or not.

What is a global scan? No clue what that is, my gynae does a scan at each appointment. Enjoy your 4D scan, post us some pics

Don’t stress about the weight thing, you will lose it quickly afterwards. I picked up almost 30kgs with my first but I lost it all so don’t stress. I am also growing in size daily lololol, I also feel pretty bad about it.

You would use a perinial cloth if you are going the natural route, what else do you need clarification on? Maybe we can help

Glad you are doing well and welcome back. Depending on your hospital, you get a free 4D scan once you book and pay for your bed. You are just lucky lol, nothing wrong with that. You will probably find that one morning you get up and “boom!” your tummy has popped out
