Lethuwam, I'm sorry to hear about your NT scan, I've also been through a tough time with my NT scan and in the end all turned out perfectly fine. The doctor at Panorama is brilliant. And like he said, it could be genetics and nothing else. But it sounds like you have good faith, so good for you xxx

Nels, thanks and enjoy the exercise and baking. From tomorrow I'm also back in the pool with water aerobics after I took a break when I had the flu.

Nnita, enjoy the little kicks. Yes, mine also started off as little popcorn kicks and it's slowly getting stronger. When I sneezed yesterday the one baby kicked, it was so funny.

Tanya and Pokkeltjie, I also can't keep my eyes open past 8:30. But this morning I was wake at 3h - that sucked!

AFM: Thanks all, I'm feeling better today about our one boy's little hole in his heart. I'm just grateful that both of them are otherwise healthy and well and that everything is on track for a full-term twin birth (36-37 weeks).

@ Nnita - eish at 37 degrees....that's a whole 20 degrees warmer than what we were yesterday!
Congrats on reaching your 20 week mark! Glad your MS has subsided and that you are feeling much better.
So jealous on all of you that can feel the movement already...but enjoy - it's such an awesome feeling!

@ Nels - glad to hear all is well and that your MS has subsided too. Let me know when your next scan date is then I can add it to the scan date list

@ Lethuwam - I am so sorry to hear about your NT scan results and that it has been a tough/challenging time for you!
Keep the faith and try not to worry about it too much - thinking of you xx

Hi everyone, I haven't log in for a while. Its been a challenging few weeks. I'm sorry I can't get to everyone, I went for my NT scan this week and got told my baby's nasal bone is not showing the two lines as expected from there I was sent to panorama hospital to a specialist who more or less told me the same thing but mentioned that it could be genetic if I want 100 percent confirm I must do a amnio I think it's called at 20 weeks they injection a needle in your tummy. But husband and I decided against it. I have faith all with be well. I'm tired all the time but my 8 year old and DH are a great support. I will try to keep in touch, all the best to everyone.

Bea@ very glad you are having great progress with your babies. Dont worry about the hole all will be well in the end. Your lo will be just fine.

Debbie@ my sibling and I are 11 years apart, she will come around. I think at the moment its usually the shock of the age gap and the "comfort" of assuring yourself there are no more babies coming. But when my brother was born I was happy. Unfortunately i did become the 24/7 babysitter and that I didnt like.

How is everyone doing?

Afm: I have a 17mth old so my days are filled with alot and he is demanding and still feeding but my boobs are SORE. I am also getting bigger, thankfully my ms has gone but the fatigue has come back big time. I am also trying to exercise again which seems to help and keep my weight to a minimum. I seem to be into baking, i am baking alot lately. I have an a very sweet tooth also. I still have to book my next scan, i was waiting for my medical aid maternity programme to approve before I go to my gynea for a scan, but I will go at 20 weeks as I am currently 17.4weeks. I am so tired of today's weather...its 37 degrees and I am feeling sick, I just don't know how am I going to survive the rest of summer.

Bea I am so happy your boys are doing well, worry not about the hole he might not even need to do the surgery. Prayer is key

Debbie, I was 19 when my mother had my half brother...and I was so annoyed and did not understand, it was even worse she got married so I was not staying with them. It's only now that we are getting close with my brother.

Tanya I am big as well, pity I cannot win with uploading a photo here I just gave up.

Mrs Gov glad your scan went well, and I guess the MS is also finding its way out

Simmy how is granny, and shame I want to show you my bump, but technology is not on my side

AFM: I am now feeling strong kicks, not popcorns anymore, we are 20 weeks now and eating k=just fine...it's one in a few moments where we throw up either when we tired or when its too hot. After food I need to sit in a comfortble position because she does her dance inside me...and I must say it is the best feeling ever.

@ Bea - so glad all went well with your scan and that the boys are doing well. You must be feeling such a relief.
Don't worry too much about the hole in the heart - I am sure it will come right by the time that he is born and if not, technology has improved so much....they can do wonders today! And your two little boys seem like real little fighters Just keep the faith
What did your daughter say? Did she find it exciting?

@ Debbie - sure your daughter will come around once she sees that little precious bundle of joy! Just try and include her as much as possible and reassure her that she will still be your "baby girl"

@ Tanya - know how you feel....also feel like I am huge already! My tummy and boobs just seem to be getting bigger and bigger every week. Someone actually asked me yesterday if I was carrying twins and my MIL got such a fright when she saw how big my tummy looked yesterday! Don't even want to know what we will be looking like when the hot summer temperatures are going to kick in - dreading the swollen legs & ankles (I mainly carried in Autumn & winter with my daughter) But I just keep reminding myself that we are carrying a precious little person and in the end it is all worth it

AF - nothing new my side. Like Tanya I also seem to be feeling tired in the evenings....full of energy during the day but when it comes to 20h30 I am dead tired and just feel like crawling into bed!

Nice pic, I don’t know who told you that your ass is getting bigger…… you should see mine, it has just ballooned, along with my boobs. Hope you had fun with the baby clothes shopping, I haven’t bought anything as yet lol. Trying to hold out a little longer. I have no idea how to dress a summer newborn as my 2 year old was born in may, so it was easy enough to bundle her up

Did you take your daughter the scan? Or are you only doing that later? Don’t worry about the little hole, I am sure it will close and nowadays medicine is so advanced. Everything will be ok.

Nothing new, just tired in the evenings, I have an extremely energetic 2 year old (that is an understatement) who keeps us on our toes from the second she opens her eyes till she goes to bed at night lol. Just feeling like a big whale, my stomach is huge, my ass has doubled in size and my boobs are huge. Its rather depressing. I normally wear a size 32 and I just ordered a size 36 mr price jeans, cant wait to get rid of the weight and its still just the beginning.
