Jan / Feb 2017 Babies

Hello beautiful ladies I hope everyone is doing well. Congrats to all those that found out the gender, that must be sooo exciting! I am still awaiting patiently for my turn!

Sorry I have been missing for a while, things just got really hectic at work and with exams and assignments. Also had a family wedding this past weekend. I must admit that for 1 whole week I did not have any MS at ALL I had such a lovely weekend and could actually eat! But much to my dismay on tuesday I was so sick throwing up i did not go to work. But today I feel great!

Exactly 15 weeks today, i cannot believe how fast time is going by.

@ Bea - So glad to hear your scan went well and that the boys are doing so well! I can just imagine the relief you must be feeling! Aaahh must have been so cute to see them lying next to each other - they are going to have such a close & amazing bond with each other

Glad you got meds from the gynae and hope you will feel better real soon

Pokkeltjie, that's nice! It's so true, if you are small, your bump shows so much sooner than those of us carrying a few extra pound - enjoy x

Lethuwam, good luck with Friday's appointments. I know what you mean, we're on a hospital plan only, so for us everything is out of the pocket.

Simmybunz, glad your scan went well - it's just so amazing every time. I've been buying double of everything at the moment, but I'm not so sure whether it's a good idea. Maybe it will be better to dress them differently especially at home so that I would be able to differentiate between them more easily - I need to do some serious reading up on the topic!

Hallo everyone else, hope you are doing well.

AFM: My scan went well this morning - 17 and a half weeks. So happy to report that both boys are about the same size and the amniotic fluid looks good for both - so the gynae says he doesn't see any signs of TTTS. All is such a relief after our "bad start" at 12 weeks. They each weigh about 230 grams now. At one stage they were lying with their heads together - so their feet and legs were next to one another - there were a lot of feet and legs - it was so cute!!

The gynae also prescribed a bag full of medicine for my flu - Salex sinus rise, Rinelon cortison nose spray and EfferfluC. He says all are extremely safe during pregnancy and I can use the Rinelon right through Spring/hayfever season. So happy to finally have meds that will help me, because I think the GP last week was too scared to prescribe me anything - she just gave me Tamiflu and said I must use panado and sterimar. Hopefully I will also sleep better tonight if my nose is open.

@ Simmybunz - glad you had a nice scan and that all is well with baba! Must have been so cute to seem him open his mouth and to swallow. You should try and attach one of the pics so that we can see!!
Don't know much about an anterior cervix....hopefully your little boy will have a few mean kicks so that you can feel it
Your scans are generally every 4 weeks, but it could be that they are already fully booked with other appointments in that specific 4th week... Know how you feel - next week will be 5 weeks since my previous scan and it feel like it's been FOREVER

@ SpiritedMama - so sorry to hear that it is still not going well with your gran. It must be tough to be in a completely different province when all you want to do is spend time with her and be there for her. It's usually in times like these where families have to come together and be strong together to get through a difficult time. Thinking of you and have you and your gran in our prayers xx

@ Nnita - So sorry to hear about your loss of your cousin. You are in our thoughts and prayers and hope that your MS will get better soon! I can't wait to start feeling all those amazing movements

Feeling on top of the world this morning....got my first preggy compliment - I was told I look absolutely radiant
Made me feel so good after all I've been hearing lately is how big my tummy is and that my ass is getting big

Simmy I am sorry about your gran...it can't be easy hearing the one you love is getting worse health wise

I lost my dear cousin last week and I think the stress triggered the MS more...it's been bad but I'm hanging in there. My next appointment is on the 06th September and will be doing the anatomy.
