Awesome that you can feel much stronger kicks now and not wonder if it is baba or not...
It seems that our preggie symptoms come and go right through the pregnancy - I have also been feeling tired in the evenings...been falling asleep on the couch every night when it comes to about 9pm My DH thinks I should be having extra energy because I am now in the 2nd trimester, but somehow by the time it comes to 8/9 O'clock I just don't and struggle to keep my eyes open!

I get on and off days where I feel dizzy too....but I suffer with low blood pressure - dr's advise to me was just to snack throughout the day and get up slowly. Hope you don't have it for too long...just take it easy

Congrats on reaching 5 months!!! Crazy how fast the time is going!

I must say, my uterus too feels extra hard/rounded in the mornings or whenever my bladder feels really full and feels like there is just extra pressure down there!

I'm loving the scan and belly pics - everybody is looking great! I've added my 18 week belly below!

Bea - I so hope for you that the little hole closes! Just stay positive and remember that even if it doesn't, you and baby will be fine in the end! You made me laugh with your daughters behaviour at the scan, haha, shame. At least you tried!

Lethuwam - Don't be too down about the nasal bone! What was your overall risk factor that they worked out? That is just one of the things that they look at and I'm sure everything will work out the way it's supposed to in the end.

NnitaN - Looking great, girl! So glamorous! Glad your MS is now a thing of the past!

TanyaS - I am the same as you, not sure if I was feeling baby or just bubbles... Haha. Glad scan went well, and congratulations on team blue!!

Spirited Mama - I am so sorry for the loss of your grandmother! I wish that you find peace and healing in this difficult time. Know that she will be with you in spirit whenever you need her!

Pokkeltjie - So happy for you that you finally felt it, it's so exciting!

AFM Yesterday I finally felt some kicks that I was 100% sure were baby! I have felt things before that I thought were/could be the baby, had some popcorn feelings at one stage too, but yesterday I was certain it was him. It was lovely and I just want to feel it aaaallll the time! I have been feeling great but this last week have gotten a bit of fatigue again - so tired by 9pm every night! I have also been getting dizzy when getting up out of a chair or out of bed, but i know that's normal. Just under 2 weeks now until my next scan, I really can't wait, it's been too long! Yesterday was officially 5 months until my due date - yippee! This is getting exciting now!

Oh yes, any ladies getting hardening of the uterus sometimes? I wake up with a hard uterus every morning, I can feel the whole outline of it. I have googled it and quite a lot of people say they get it when their bladder is full. I also just get it randomly, and sometimes only the bottom part of the uterus is hard, and sometimes the whole thing is just a bit hard. Some people say it's Braxton Hicks, but they are only supposed to last 30 seconds and mine are longer. There is no pain at all. I also read about Irritable Uterus and thought it might be that. Any other ladies have this, or is your uterus just soft all the time?

AF - not much news....just that I started feeling that popcorn feeling yesterday afternoon - soooo amazing!!!
Just want to feel it all the time...absolutely love it!!

Morning

Scan went well yesterday, baby weighs in at 195 grams at 17 weeks. Husband is very happy cause it’s a boy. Very lazy baby, didn’t really want to show us his face but was happy to flash what’s between his legs. Typical male already.

My next scan is 05 Oct

How is everyone doing?

@ Debbie, 5 weeks is such a long wait and feels like forever, but so worth it once you see that little bundle of joy!!
You are lucky to be able to go the natural route...unfortunately I had to have a Caesar at 37.5 weeks as my daughter was too big for my small frame...she weighed 3.8kg

@ Lethuwam & Tanya, hope your hubbies get better soon

@ Spirited Mama - so so sorry to hear about your gran! Find comfort in her being in a better place without any suffering

Oh and I now have a new scan date of 3 October. My sept dates fall away...

Hi Ladies

So no personals her but I have been reading all the posts....
So Mamma past away 28 Aug. 2 weeks after a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer that was in the breast, bones, lungs, liver and kidneys.... We laid her to rest on Saturday 3 Sept.

Will post a better update soon. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes....It's still very hard and some days are better than others but today seems to be a "good" day.

AFM, had an emergency appointment last Thursday, 1 Sept. LB is still growing well and all is fine. 18 weeks today.

Will chat soon.....right now my heart is broken
