Jan / Feb 2017 Babies

Hi guys,

I am about 5 weeks 4 days today, still early days. Trying not to be too excited yet, I know anything can happen. I got pregnant so quickly I feel almost hesitant to think about it too much.

With my first pregnancy (she's now 15 months old) I had hectic heartburn from 5 weeks - nothing of that so far, but from since two weeks ago I've been having dizzy spells. Dizzy spells can also be a symptom, right? Now and again experiencing faint nausea - didnt have it at all with my first pregnancy. Im so impatient as my first scan is only on 19 August. At least I got an appointment then already (will be just over 8 weeks), with my first baby I had to wait until almost 10 weeks.

Also have to start buying maternity wear...this tummy of mine is growing like there's no tomorrow!! I am only 10 weeks but look like I am 5 month preggies already
Hoping to have a quiet & relaxing weekend...been such a busy and long week. Hopefully get some beauty sleep (the trips to the loo during the night are catching up to me LOL)

DebbieF, I'm actually doing the Park Run tomorrow at 8h - only walking the 5km though, no running. Haha, I'll rest after that.

My gynae advised this week that I should start exercising again as the benefits during pregnancy are massive. So this morning I went to the Water Aerobics class at gym - I was the only person there under 60! (I work from home.) It was fun, and I can feel that I've worked out. Usually I hit a slump after 17:00 - then I'm exhausted, but in the mornings I seem to have a lot of energy - despite getting up 3-4 times to go to the loo

R199 if i remember correctly. They have the small stretch band not the ones which cover your whole tummy. I figured it would work for next couple of months maybe. First pregnancy so I'm learning.

AnaB - was looking at MrP online maternity at least it only has to last for a couple of months and they not baldy priced, congratulate on 17 Weeks not long and you going to be at the half way mark.

Oh me too. As little as possible. 17 week mark today and my energy is definitely picking up but MS was a *$%&@ this week. Vomitting is exhausting.
Bought 2 maternity jeans from Mr Price as i now officially have an undeniable bump! :cool:
