My appointment is only at 14:30 and believe me this day is dragging...

Pokkeltjie I had a wax last week and it was fine tough. It still hurts the same the things we endure ...
I was actually joking with the therapist as we have worked out a schedule that should I go into labour but I still need that last wax they will have to have a team on standby so that I can stop at Sorbet on route to the hospital no way am I getting a dry shave

Does anyone know if it is safe to Veet during pregnancy? I usually go for a wax, but think it might be a bit too painful during
pregnancy as they say your hormones tend to make your skin more sensitive....

I was just comparing this baby to my daughter at 12 weeks, and this one is whole 1cm bigger than my daughter was at 12 weeks. The heart beat is also slightly slower, so maybe it’s a boy?

Debbie – I am sure everything will be fine, my age also counts against me, but the nt scan was fine, don’t stress to much

TanyaS - Glad the scan went well , with me I had to go for bloods 2 weeks ago , suppose every Dr is different. Another naughty LO keeping their gender hidden.

Bellasmom - the time to get to see your LO always seems to drag on , 2 more weeks seems like an eternity but it will be here before you know it.

SpiritedMama - whoop whoop on the scan tomorrow do come tell us all about it

AFM - got some good news today they sms'd me to confirm my NT scan but said it was for Monday so I phoned to confirm as FS told me Wednesday but its definitely on Monday so 2 less sleeps for me , very nervous about the results cos of my age and the age gap between my 1st and this LO , but hopefully we will have good news.

Morning Ladies

Had my scan this morning, everything looks ok, nt scan is fine, just need to go for the blood tests this afternoon so they can work out the risk factor. We can’t see the gender as yet, gynae says it can still go either way and baby was lying with its legs crossed most of the time. Baby is about 6.88cm and scans in at 13 weeks, but the edd date will change plenty over the next few months so I will stick to the first date.

Sorry about your dog, we also had to put down my 13 year old daschund 3 years ago and I cried for weeks. Even got a tattoo done in her honour. It gets better eventually

Enjoy the busy 14 months, it only gets worse when they hit 2 lololollolololololololololololol! They aren’t just busy, but also strongwilled, and very very bossy. I feel the same way as you at the moment, I am 12 weeks now and if I have it my way I will only tell family and friends when I hit 8 months. Just not in the mood.
