Congrats on the baby girl, I can honestly not wait to find out the gender of by babs....

Sad that children loose their patents soooo early, one of my biggest fears is that something will happen to daddy or I and the our babies will nog even have any memories of how much we loved them

Hi everyone,

Had my first appointment with the new doctor yesterday. Everything is good with baby and my placenta seems to have re-attached itself. My c-section is now scheduled for the last week in March not quite sure of the date.

AND we found out the gender:woohoo:

We are expecting a little girl

On a sad note though a friend and colleague of my husband's wife passed away last night. She was diagnosed with cancer just two weeks ago. It just breaks my heart, they have a little girl of two months old.

Really makes you stop and take a look at your life.

Life is so precious, cherish every moment.

Glad to hear that you're recovering from the scare Joanne. Good luck to you and BabyT with finding out the gender - these babas can be so uncooperative at times! My friend at work is also struggling to find out, they think it's a girl, but they have not been able to confirm.

AFM I was down with tonsilitis last week for two days after having a bumper weekend for my daughter's second birthday and its associated party. Her godparents came down from CT and it was very hectic. I think it went very down very well, she had a blast and she loved her birthday present (a 3m trampoline)

And today I am 20 weeks along, kicks coming in nicely

After the scare of last week I am back at work. Luckily did not have any further bleeding so all seems to be okay.

We had the anatomy scan last week Tuesday and that put my mind at ease. Baba is perfect absolutely no problems and weighed in at 130g, had a laugh when the sonographer made the comment that it is quite a busy little person in there.

Unfortunately we could not see the gender as baba decided to be shy.

Next appointment next week with the gynie, maybe we will find out then.

So Ladies, my baba is weighing in at a whopping 160g She / he is healthy and so far all the test results are looking great.

As you have gathered, we were not able to find out if we are expecting blue or pink, which makes me think pink... As we also battled with my first born until about 24 weeks!!!
