I am now also taking Clicks Prenatal supplement a cheapie at only R25 or so.

I hope that it is okay.

Our company is closing on Friday for the Christmas Holidays so I will be off for two weeks. So seeing forward to it, we're not going anywhere just chilling at home, but still no work for two weeks:laugh:

Hi moms

Glad to hear everything is looking good, BabyT. Honestly, in my first pregnancy I just took folic acid, omegas and calcium. My doctor was asking about vitamins this time so I just bought some cheap ones from Clicks, but then a rep was giving out Pregnacare liquid and I got 2 months supply of those. Must be honest, the liquid tastes terrible so it sometimes makes me feel a little nauseous and I couldn't face it this morning after a late night at friends. I had intentions of taking two omegas per day, but I've only been taking one.

I'm seeing my doctor again on Wednesday, need her to sign off a form for me to fly to Cape Town on Thursday, was originally supposed to see her the next week and then our plans to go to CT for a wedding ended up messing up the original scheduling. So looking forward to the break! I am exhausted!!

Pregnancy comparisons, I am bigger than I was last time at 26 weeks. Not sure how much so. Still super annoyed with everyone who thinks that it's ok to pass comment about how it's still so long to go, but I look like I'm going to pop at any moment or crap like that. Getting to the point where certain foods are triggering heartburn, legs feeling heavy, but so far no cankles. For me the main differences are the fact that obviously been feeling the kicks for quite a bit longer, can't say whether Evangeline is more active than Eliana was. I haven't had as many aversions and I've been generally a lot more relaxed, but had more vomiting. It's still just not having the same time to contemplate things, I don't really feel like I've been able to bond as much while pregnant what with having a toddler to run around after. But then the last time I felt so "connected" before birth, but when Eliana was born I felt detached and things were surreal for a while, it took me a few days to really love and bond with her properly. So I guess we'll just see what happens.

Anyone else having some leave over Christmas?

Hi Baby T

Mine is the complete opposite of my first.
Most days I don't really even look pregnant and I am 23 weeks already. With my first I was definitely carrying larger than with this one.
She is also not so active as her brother were, but maybe that's a girl thing.

My next scan is 10 January then I will be 28 weeks so we will booking our bed then.

Have a nice weekend ladies, Pillpusher and CTelly hope everything is going well on your side.

Glad everything is okay Joanne :)

I have my next appointment on the 19th, then I will be just over 25weeks preggars, so I am assuming we will be booking our bed then as well....

Ladies, have you found that the second pregnancy is a hell of a lot different than the first one?? This little man is way more active than my little girl was before 30 weeks and my tummy has also grown a lot more than with my first one... At this rate I will be able to tuck and roll instead of walking by the time I reach 7 month!!

Hi everyone,

Just an update on yesterday's dr visit. Everything is well with baba she is weighing in at 533g and is still a girl:laugh:

Dr is happy with everything and everything is where it should be.

She advised me to stop the prenatal as it definitely what is making me sick so now I am back on folic acid.

When are you ladies due for a scan again?

Hi Joanne,

If it is the prenatal vits that are making you sick, it is most probably the Omega that is causing the issues, you can still drink the rest and just skip the Omegas to see if that will make a difference.

But please just make sure that ita the vitamins and that you dont have the nasty stomach bug that is doing the rounds - my entire house hold has been out for the count with it and my little girl almost ended up in hospital as she was sick for 5days.

Hope you feel better soon ;)

Hi Ladies,

How are erveryone doing?

Can you give me some advice on prenatals please. All of a sudden my prenatal is making me nauseous to the point of throwing up? Doesn't matter when I drink it, in the morning, evening, in between on a empty stomach of after eating.

I am using PregOmega Plus just like with my previous pregnancy. Do you think I should switch to something else? And which prenatal do you recommend?

I am seeing my dr tomorrow so I will ask her as well, but thought I can just as well ask you guys who have first hand experience.
