Hi Joanne

Been thinking that this thread has been quiet! I've been so busy that I haven't really had time to browse.

Congrats on surviving the first trimester :) Post nasal drip - you can use ACC 200 to help dissolve the mucous, a decongestant nasal spray can also be helpful (short term use - stop after 7 days max), and if really needed, you can take most antihistamines. I suffer with chronic sinusitis so I take Allergex daily and did read up on it during my first pregnancy (I was paranoid about everything.

I'm 17 weeks today. Been feeling butterfly movements for about 3 weeks or so. Mostly when I'm lying down in bed.

Had a scan last week and gynae confirmed that we're having another little girl  Daddy needs a shotgun!

Anyone thinking of names? Our little angel will be Evangeline (good news). Still sorting second names out.

AFM: still struggling with fatigue, but app says that placenta is just about ready to take over so I'm hoping to regain some energy soon! I'll need it next week for preparation for my daughter's second birthday party!

Shame Ctelly. I feel you. I have had a blocked nose for the last seven weeks straight nothing helps.

Last night was the worst I actually threw up in front of my little boy shame he was so worried about his mommy.

Hope you feel better soon. And good luck with your drs appointment.

Good afternoon Ladies,

It's been rough my side :( As I read through the comments it seems like I'm not alone. I'm still so sick. Have been to the GP 3 times already, no success..coughing like crazy, sinusses are blocked and the nausea doesn't help.. huge pity party for one (and a half) happening this side. Tomorrow is Gynae appointment again. I'm just over the 12 week mark now. was hoping the nausea would subside.. but nope. Hope you all have a great day and those with nausea and flu feel better soon.

Hi hi,

The scan was great, saw our little guy/girl's little fingers, hands, feet and the most perfect little head. Will get the results of all the tests by next week, but in my heart I am sure everything will be okay.

I must say after this weekend my MS is a million times better, but I have been booked off sick for the entire week, as I have a nasty strain of the flu going around.

So now the long wait is to find out if daddy will be out numbered 3 to 1 or if we will have two girls and two boys in the house :woohoo:

Oh and my new due date officially falls within this groups name, new EDD is 30 March 2018

Me: 32
DH: 38

Been married since April 2009 :-)

Hi Mommy's

How are you all doing?

Baby T, how did your scan go?

AFM: We couldn't see much yesterday since I have a reverted uterus and it hasn't straightened it out yet. Dr does not seem worried though.
Next appointment 20th October and then the big one (20 weeks) in November.

MS is still going strong just trying to get by and hoping that it will get better since I am nearing the 12 week mark.

Have a nice day ladies.

Thanks Baby T and Pillpusher.

The ginger beer seems do be doing the trick and I got some salt and vinegar chips (very healthy :( , but what can you do)

Baby T good luck with your scan Tuesday, my appointment is only at 16:00.

Pillpusher congratulations on the girl. But yes I will also wait till later, girls have been known to change to boys.

I am also hoping for a little girl but if it is another boy I will also be happy.

We are also busy with renovations, my son is moving into his big boy room, theme is going to be Minions, he has been sleeping in his own room and bed for almost a year now so it just going to be a change in rooms. But things are moving so slowly wish I could just speed it up a bit. I am not a patient lady.

Have a nice weekend ladies.
