Hi ladies.
Bronz, Liam will wake up and cry if i don't feed him. I've tried putting him back to sleep without feeding him but he will just wake up a few mins later until i feed him.
Babyshoes, Liam also gets crabby when we take him out. He doesn't like to sleep anywhere but at home or my mom's house. Solids are also going well for us. He has cereal in the mornings and veg in the evenings. Now he wants to 'talk' when i'm feeding him and whatever is in his mouth goes flying everywhere. Re Luke's dad i think bronz advice is great. I tried it before and it really does help. Take care ladies.

Dont stress about Luke's dad. You are doing a great job without him. Write a letter to him about everything you would want to say to him and then burn it, that may help to clean your mind and stop the dreams.

Hello Mommies

I'm so sorry that I have been MIA - but I have been so busy at work and the evenings are hectic (the ones that I do get to go home early that is...). I guess I shouldn't complain cos there are lots of people out there that cant find work!

Bronz.. What meet is it? When and where?

Luke is doing well - getting bigger and bigger by the day! He does NOT like laying on his tummy at all, he has not rolled yet (or at least not that I know of...). Solids are going well too... still cries when you stop feeding him! LOL! He also enjoys chomps - loves sucking the chocolate off of it (dont worry mommy's I dont give him alot)...

I have also noticed that when we go out somewhere that when Luke feels that he has had enough of being out... he starts to perform - he starts screaming and nothing you try or do will calm him down - you basically have to go home.... (had this experience at 3 braais recently and at Canal Walk...)

I have also lately been having the most terrible dreams about Luke's father (I think it cos I pass him most mornings on the way to work.... and I know he has seen me - I really wish I knew how to stop the dreams - I know they just dreams but they bother me and I know its in my subconscious and there is nothing I can do about it!!!). He still has not made any attempts to come and see Luke or to find out how his son is doing...

Anywaaaaaaays.... let me not harp over him...

Vash Do you know why Liam wakes up so often? What happens if you dont feed him?

Well today was better I seemed to have enough milk again, dont know why either I didnt have enough or it was not satisfying him.
He went down so well tonight.

Hi ladies.
Bronz, Liam used to nibble before but now he eats more. Not exactly a full feed but maybe 3/4 of a feed. Liam sleeps really well. He only gets up when he's hungry. That too he doesn't even open his eyes, he will just start moaning. During the day its a different story. He sleeps for 40 mins at a time but i have to rock/tap him to sleep with him fighting his sleep. He also has his hands on everything and most of the time they go straight into his mouth. Hope you get some sleep tonight.
Shazz, congrats on the rolling. Liam hasn't quite managed it yet but he can turn onto his side. He did roll from his tummy to his back though. He does try to sit up and he's starting to balance himself when sitting. Re breastfeeding, let her keep sucking because it will help to increase your milk supply. Liam has started biting me and i'm going to look into starting the bottle again soon but only with expressed milk.

We have gone all quiet again.

Graeme slept so badly last night, I feel like I have been hit by a train. Hopefully tonight will be better. I have no idea why he was so niggly. I think he was not getting enough milk from me.

Shazz Congrats on the rolling. Graeme rolled a few times and now doesn't. Odd. I think its great that you have managed what you have. Every bit helps.

I love the way they are discovering so much now. He has his hands on everything. Nothing is safe.
