I eat junk food every 2 weeks, DH & I have a sweet tooth so we eat junk then. So I have it twice a month
My cousin-in-law (cousins wife) is a GP, called her wanting to know the safest weight loss aid out there coz DH didint like the idea of diet pills. She said I must calculate my BMI, which turns out to b 33, meaning Im obese. She prescribed me Reductil. Its a prescription medication for the treatment of obesity. But I have to still xcercise & eat healthy
She said I must stop taking it when my BMI drops to below 27 after that I must stop taking it.
I dnt gave a scale, so weigh myself when I take Ruru for his immunisations at the clinic. Was 83kg last week (went to see gynae)so I'll weigh in again next friday. Iv been on Reductil for 5 days now & there is a noticeable difference. Was still wearing maternity clothes, they getting bigger, so its helping
So ja, thats my story.
Im hoping its safer coz its been prescribed by my GP.

Zodwa, personally I prefer Calpol, it's thicker than Panado. I find that Panado (after injections) made Jaqi cough furiously, I think because of it's consistency. I switched to Calpol and that does not make her cough. But I think it's up to you, or your baby, some babies may not like Calpol, or vice versa.

nixie, most of teh time when the teeth has erupted most of the pain should subside. But you may also fin dthat your baby may cut 2 or 3 or even 5 teeth at a time, so even when 1 is broken through, he may still have pain from the others.

Bluebird I know they bad, diet pills, but I was sooo desperate after seeing my gynae & as I enterd her rooms she was like "u hvnt lost the pregnancy weight??? I thought u would have by now!!" That really depressed me the whole weekend. Am 83kg & need to get down to at least 60 (a lot of weight to lose)
i xcercise 30 min everyday, dnt eat junk or takeaways & nothing seems to b budging. DH sees how I hard Iv been trying to get it off, he hates diet pills but I begged & he gave in. I prmised just this one packet...

Ruru's gums have been looking like beetroot for the past 3 day, they very swollen too. He's been fussing & crying today, gave him panado which seemed to help a bit. Am scared to give him Calpol. What do u ladies think???

I dnt think its silly celebrating the 6 months. I celebrated 6 weeks, bought a cake & all, my sister thought I was crazy. For me it was relevant. I didnt feel a real connection to my baby till he was 4 weeks old, felt like dumping him somewhere half the time (know it sounds bad) so I was really happy we had both survived each other for 6 weeks & I was really starting to feel the love towards him

does it hurt while it grows??? is the pain over or not?

Lientjie, I completely missed your reply... Anyway, have you girls heard about that lost tiger on th enews? Well, i is not lost anymore, but the owner said, if you happen to run into the tiger, you must point a stick at it, and say "No!"... then feed it a chicken.

So I said to dh, I am sooooo going to feed this rooster to that tiger, should I be lucky enough to run into it.

My guess is that that poor rooster is being raised for Christmas.... oh please can it be Christmas already!?
