Okay, tonight I cooked a feast. Chicken, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, potatoes... I pureed some with the broth it cooked in and gave Jaqi some. She loves it! Our fridge is now stocked with enough ready-to-eat meals for a long time

Ep Yep thats a banana. Dsnt eat it well though coz after its coated in salive it becomes too slippery to hold. Dnt give it to him a lot, just every now & then.
LOL @ ur MIL!! Some ppl say its constipating in some babies.
I read somewhere that u can introduce cows milk from 6 months. But docs dnt recommend it coz they worried bout it replacing the baby's normal feeds, but I know u can cook with it & give to baby.
Iv given Ruru some natural full cream yoghurt b4. Well DH gives it to him sometimes in the morn coz DH has it during breakfast.
I'll give it to him regularly from nxt month when he's 6 months though
Ruru had brocolli yest, devoured it!!

EP - No green veggies yet. Only butternut, sweet potato and purity mixed vegetables.

Am not sure when it would be ok to give LO dairy.

Has anyone (except Nixie hahahaha) introduced dairy yet? How about green veggies?

I will start with peas next month, I usually cook peas and corn. Make a cheese sauce and then bake it in the oven. So I will just mash it up for Jaqi, when I make it for us again. Dairy should be fine from 7 months? Cheese sauce made with cow's milk and cheese should be fine? What do you think? All my kids loved this as babies, and they still do!

Is that a piece of banana, Zodwa?

I know bananas are great first foods... But wow my mother in law's reaction when she saw my kids eat banana.. She was adamant that bananas are pure evil.

Am sure its fine, ppl use it on babies I know, just wasnt sure. I bought it last week just havnt opened it. Panado is a bit weak, dsnt do much

Ruru eats mid morn & evening. here is what a peach looks like after he's eaten it. This was in the morn. I give him veges for supper
I put the peach slices in the fridge, before giving him, hoping it would help with his swollen gums
