sorry to hear about retrenchment, have they worked on the lifo system meaning last in first out??? cause that is the law, went through retrenchement 2 years ago and they didnt go through the right procedure and i won the case at the ccma got 7.5 months salary

Well, I started Shaunie on two teespoons of rice cereal last Sunday, he didnt take to it very well with the first feed, but the next night went better. Athough I feel so dumb, he cries and i give him his bottle to wash the pappies down, I know that is defeating the object, but I battle when he doesnt want something. So since then its been two teespoons every night with his bottle afterwards, and from next monday in the morning too. Maybe he just doesnt like the taste of the cereal? Dont know.

I have been retrenched ;-( like a week after coming back from maternity leave. My last day is the 28th of May, but they paying me till the end of June, guess they just dont want me on the premises because of the nature of my position.

I am a bit sad, but hey - life goes on. I wont be taking him out of daycare, I had sleepless nights about it, but it would be wrong to take him out and then in a month put him back? I dont know?

I'm still a stay-at-home-mom so not sure what kindof advice to give. I'm sure it must be tough to leave Abi but I'm sure she will be fine.

Hi guys,

Well I heard on Monday that I got a job that I applied for - so I start work on Monday again - after being at home for 6 months!!

I found a creche for the 2 kiddo's. I am feeling very anxious about leaving Abi (she is only 3.5 months!!) I am going to miss her terribly!!!

Oh Abi slept through again last night (only the 2nd time) I don't mind at all if she wakes for a night feed though - it is such a special time to be awake in the wee hours and have that total ALONE time with her - even if it is only 15minutes!!

Muneeb is 3 months today.

These past 2 nights he has been so restless. Drinks the whole night. Not sure why but have a feeling it could be because I had coffee yesterday afternoon and the afternoon before so not going to have today and see what happens.

On Sunday he rolled from his stomach onto his back. Was so proud of him
