Jan & Feb 2010 Mommies

Jaqi is the same, she drools and chews on her hands but she still takes my breast, and still sleeps like an angel. She is a bit fussy during the day but soon calms when I feed her.

He's gums dnt look so swollen today & he's not drooling & bitting & fussing like he was before.... makes me wonder if he really is teething. I read somewhere that a baby can have teething symptoms for a long time before any tooth comes out.
Gave him the bottle the last night instead of boob & he slept thru!!!! Only woke up at 2am for another bottle. When i breastfeed him he wakes up every 2 hours. I dnt mind waking up as I dnt have to go to work or anything.
I'll still try & breasfeed for as long as he is willing to take it

Zodwa - Ah shame poor Ruru, hope he feels better soon. I've used Dynexan for my LO's but not sure what age you can use it. My kids teethed quite late so didn't have problems at such a young age. Shame man.

nixie - I am using Pampers but also use Huggies dry comforts.

Muneeb is such an angel. I still can't believe how good he is.

Morning girls

Well, went to the gynie yesterday and now I feel so stupid. First of all, Saturday I could not stand the pain anymore and went to nitedoc. The dr there sais I should rather see my gynie. That's why I saw him. He said he is 100% sure it is my aapendix and he so phoned a specialist surgeon to make an emergency apointment for me. Saw the surgeon at 16h45 well closer to 17h30 cause he was backed up running late. He said it is my appendix but because we don't have a med aid he wants to try to resolve the infection with anti biotics before operating. So... if the meds don't work, I will need an operation. Please please please pray that the meds will work.
