He is born on the 20th
Im using pampers....
I might have to stop breastfeeding as he prefers his bottle to my boob
We had trouble latching when he was born so I xpressed milk for him. I didnt give up on breastfeeding & tried again when he was 4 weeks old as the xpressing was depleting my milk. He latched well at 4 weeks but still mostly preffered the bottle.
I ended up breastfeeding mornings & evenings, even then, I was kind of forcing it on him. Yesterday & today he has boycotted my boobies. Today he only fed twice from me, mostly took the bottle.
Am kind of sad bout it, will try tomorrow again. It also feels like Im fighting a losing battle coz the less he feeds from me, the less milk my boobs make, meaning he's never satisfied feeding from me & he ends up getting a bottle anyway....

Zodwa what date is your baby born because i think we have twins, my baby'sgums is swolen in front and he is so irritated, my sister gave me aston and Parsons powder that you rub on the gums and it seems to be working, saw it at spar its R20 .

Guys what nappies are you using

My Ruru is def teething!!!! Im in complete shock as I think he's too young. His gums are swollen at the to left side & he ikes bitting on his bottle so I bought him a teething ring which seems to help coz he gets irritated & starts crying.
Slept with him in the bed last night, now he didnt want to sleep in his cot this morn. He settled down when I put him back in my bed, hope he goes back to his cot tonight
Ruru is also over his growth spurt, not feeding so much at night...

Shakira, yes, I am having incredible pain on my right side which seems to be related to my ovaries.

Zodwa - It's so bad in S.A just about everyone I know is getting retrenched even my mother's job is on the line and she has been working there for 20 years.

Julel, dis so seer ek is sommer naar. Ek het lank terug omtrent 8 jaar terug 'n sist gehad wat gebars het. Die pyn voel soortgelyk. Destyds het ek bloeding ook gehad, maar nie die keer nie. Ek vermoed dis weer 'n sist wat nog net nie gebars het nie. Dit is vreeslik seer.
