Well, the cough has resulted in physio now, going tomorrow... this morning I had the worst scare of my life, he was in his car chair on the way to school in the back seat, he had just had a bottle before we left, all of a sudden he is dead quiet, I turned around and was faced with my child blue in the face, vomiting violently coming out the nose, mouth and I think given a chance it would have been the ears as well... I totally freaked out.. I think there is nothing worse in a normal day than this..l blue.. i thought he was not breathing, and for a second I though .. well the worst... I was in so much shock. Stopped the car, jumped out, pulled him out the chair, blew in his face to get him breathing... was not a lekker morning at all....

Oh - and regarding the Pronutro Toddlers.. Shaun has all the flavours, it is chocolate malt, apple and pear, peach & apricot and then the original.. he looovvveeeess this so much... I only give him this now, and some weekends I will make him real mieliepap and maybe offer weetbix, which he is not too keen on...

Could teething cause coughs? haha - sorry just asking... because last night the fever stayed around 38.6 the whole night trough and this morning 37.9 ... what is really considered a fever?
His daymother told me he has a tooth at the top - not the front ones, more to the side that she can feel and have felt for a while now, but it is not coming through.. does teething cause vomiting aswell?

So glad Ruru has his apetite back!!! Leandi's turn now! Doesnt want to eat anything, and has the most horrible sour nappies, that burn her bums so quick!! Hate those
Only thing she will eat is yogurt, and at least she is still drinking her milk so not too worried!! Just hope this doesnt last long. Damn teeth.

Eish, i dont know how i would survive without Pronutro, or Matabella or tastey wheet. Leandi loves her pappies, and has a very very wide variety!! See even Purity has a pronutro brand now. not bothering though.

Rhodine, i would say if your having mac & cheese tonight then dish some out for Shaun so he can have his food straight when you get home tomorrow night, while you cook tonights meal. then whatever you and bf had tonight, dish out for Shaun for tomorrow night. When you get home, feed him quick, bath him (forget about the ou vrou stories, nothings going to happen to your baby!!!) and then give him some milkies (only if he still wants, might not even drink much) and then put him to bed. Leandi has her supper at 5:30 then she plays and then baths at 6:30 and then plays some more and then i give her her bottle in her room and when shes done she goes to sleep. that is just the way i do it, and i dont care if its against the law of google of "mense sê". wie de hel is "die mense" in elk geval. En ek gee vir Leandi oros, en sy love dit!!! Ok fine, ek gee dit nou nie elke dag vir haar nie, maar as dit warm is maak ek vir haar oros en gooi lekker baie ys in en sy is baie gelukkig met haar koelie. sien nie 'n probleem daarmee nie. Dis nie asof ek vir haar 'n bottel coke ingooi nie. Dis maar net hoe ek dinge doen. Ons almal doen dinge anders, en dis ook fine!!! Sekere dinge wat ander mammas doen wat ek nou weer nie noodwendig sal doen nie. So verskil ons almal (baklei nie Char )

Ruru has supper btwn 6 & 6:30 b4 his bath, its always been like that. I dnt think there's anything wrong with it

I think no.3 formulas are the same as Nido.... Like they need more food than milk so its just a snack to get calcium in & such. Tried giving Ruru normal cows milk & he wasnt interested.

Really wish we had mielie Pap, Mabele or pronutro here!! So jealous. Ruru has cornflakes & wheat bix for b-fast. He dsnt like the wheat bix too much & dsnt like normal cornflakes. He eats my special K. Keep on wondering if its gonna make him lose weight....
Sometimes I make him a peanut butter & jam sandwich

He's much better today, he's appetite is back & he wants to feed himself. So we back to normal.

oh the oros... welll, was not my idea, Saturday I had to really spring clean the house for a change, and forced BF to take shaunie out and go do shopping ect while I cleaned, and he came back with those kiddies oros cooldrinks, and shaun enjoyed it? do you think this could be the cause of the aggrevated cough?

Char : s26 & Nido... well, that is a damn good question, I do not know.... I only noticed the other day that the s26 No 3 says "follow on drink" and not an actual formula.. and the Nido is mos just a drink as well? mmm, you could be saving me hundreds a month here... is there a diffrence? I was giving it because I thought the S26 is like a normal formula "meal" like what they had b4 solids, and the Nido was just normal milk that he could drink inbetween that has lots of vitamins.... and it cost alot ;-(. Am I doing it wrong? Lol.. geezzz I sound so dumb.. cant believe Ive actually explained it.

As for the supper time - Uhm... can I feed him before he baths? or is the ou vrou storie really an ou vrou storie of not bathing/swimming directly after eating... blushing again... I only get home at the latest 18h00pm, then he is so tired... sometimes falls asleep on the way from school, then I bath him, and then he refuses to stay awake to eat normal food, that is why i give him a formula bottle at night and not meals, over weekends it is diffrent, byut during the week this is what happens.

Charlotte...you are so good at getting back to everyone.....i try so hard, but can't seem to focus....

Lorelai is also cutting her molars at the mo, but she is fine... should I be saying that? tonight will probly be hell.

Rhodine everything on this menu sounds fine. I only have one question, why s26 and Nido? Also why dont you try and move his supper to 18:00 then he will be more open to new ideas, when he is less tired and not hungry. I have noticed with Lorelai that when she is toooo hungry she does not want food, just a bottle. Also one thing why Oros?

I completly agree with Christelle & Angel they will eat what they like. Every night after we cook whatever (as Lorelai eats what we eat) I dish some up in a bowl and put in the freezer so that there is always a cooked meal for her over weekends and she can eat early even though our supper is not done.

hannes just got offered a new job salary way more than current and he phoned me to tell me. stupid stupid stupid... Im going to court tomorow, not a very good move on his part. lol
