I miss you girls so much.
I HATE HATE HATE where I am living now, as my internet provider does not cover that area. We are looking for anothe rplace already, as this place is a total dump. I can't live this way I simply can't.

I went to KZN this past weeknd, to shoot a wedding at the beach, it was AMAZING absolutekly freaking stunning beyond belief. HOPEFULLY I will be bale to post some pics on the net sometime before next year.

How are you all? I don't have a lot of time, but please please please update me.

I THINK AT THIS STAGE 2 MILK BOTTLE A DAY WOULD BE ENOUGH, IS LIAM ON A VITAMIN?

5 htp is great . Have also used it. There is also something called stressaway by tibb which is very good. Same co that makes septoguard which is tjat nat antibiotic

@ Charlotte: Sorry to hear about the asthma. That can be a debilitating condition if not managed properly. Hope they eventually grow out of it to an extent.

Using a public blog as a primary source of stress relief I would find impossible to do. I need things that are going to take my mind away from issues at hand.. Whether this be a form of exercise, meditation, playing an instrument, making clay pots, cooking, fixing cars, volunteering, painting, gardening, fund raising for good causes, glass blowing – you get my drift. Importantly something that’s also going to give you the freedom to be you and to express yourself accordingly...no facades, no public scrutiny that may make you feel uncomfortable. So anything cross your mind as you went through this? I completely hear you wrt the crying and control issues. I tend to bawl on my own with my dogs for company..just try and find something that works for you.

I love your supernannie principle and must try it. Liam is still in this kind of bumbo seat on steroids thing. He has a high chair but we don’t use it often and I would far prefer it if he would sit down and eat.

Shoo I’m only at the biting stage. You telling me I have the hitting stage to look forward to now..

@ Juanita - lol I was with my folks this wkend and forgot his baby chair so sat him down on a towel for his meals – well!! You talk about getting up every 10 mins! I was in a sweat within 30 min! Glad to see she has her appetite back for “real” food. Oh lucky you!! Port st John’s to me is one of the few totally unspoilt places left. Yes it’s a v long trip! Hmmm I’ve had bad experiences with night drives – we try and avoid them if possible though I know sometimes it’s just not really feasible to do that.

Back at the food again – suggestions very welcome..Liam drank 250 ml x 4 today – that’s how bad it’s got. He also ate breakfast, lunch and supper but small meals only. He refuses to eat if I feed him – unless it’s yoghurt or some other “nice” food – can’t believe they can already distinguish this!! So I prepare meals for him – smorgasboard of anything that happens to be in my fridge or left overs etc.. The problem is he appears to love eating but he doesn’t absorb a lot of calories at all hence I’m assuming why he’s now so hungry for milk. How much of their whole food do your lo’s actually swallow?

@ Zodwa wow never seen Ruru? This sounds like it’s going to be a huge welcome of the prodigal pair =) Happy eating – that’s going to be such fun! Oh shame that hair cutting ordeal sounds traumatic – I’ve been wanting to go for a while but am scared that that is the kind of experience I will have.

Been mia for a few days.... my mom was in CT for the weekend - was so nice to see her. Just goes by far too fast!

Char & Juanita - Abi also started hitting, but it more when we are playing and she gets a bit over excited I think... I usually just push her hand away and firmly say "no"....

I also had a good chuckly at Amandalynn - how many boxes mom.... very cute!

LOL @ Zodwa, shame girl - Ruru gave you a hard time with his haircut! I also always land up with a child with skew hair - you're not the only one!

Rhodine - to change the colour of you font - just look under the subject line you will see a box with all the font options - there is a block with small colour blocks, if you click on that all the colour options come up (hope that makes sence) How are you feeling by the way??

I would also love to join the CT get together - I keep on missing all the get togethers but MUST make a plan to join. Have been living in CT for about a year now - and just dont get time to get out and meet people!!

soooo glad your coming home for a bit Zodwa. im sure Ruru will looooove our wide variety of porridges, our biltong, our boerewors, and all the other lovely foodies we have to offer. Try not to pick up too much weight!

Charlotte, Leandi also went through a stage where she would hit us. i used to slap her on her hand (ok not very hard) and that didnt seem to work. then i thought about it. i tell her not to slap and then i slap her??!! obviously thats confusing to her. now i just tell her "its not nice to hit people, they get hurt, we wouldnt like it if people hit us" and she can actually see that im not angry with her, but a little more disappointed. you can actually see that she gets it, and doesnt want to disapoint mommy. so far so good, and we havent had a hitting incident in more than 2 weeks now!!

other than that, all is well on our side. no news is good news!!
