Adele, do you live in Bonaero Park cause thats where I work. I think you get used to the noise anyway, It doesnt bug me at all. If I look out my window at work, a plane is parked like 10 metres away. I like how your lounge looks. :)I see you only use Cows milk now. How did you get Tyren to start drinking it? Was it a easy process? I want to start giving it to Kyle but dont know the best way to do it.

Sumayad, Its not the first time the cat has slept in the room. We got him about a month ago and doesnt matter what we do, he always ends up sleeping in the cot. I have moved Kyles cot into my room for the winter. Maybe you are right about eating something at the party, but what?

I had just called the school and Kyles teacher says he has been miserable the whole day and cries often, something he never does. His eyes are also still swollen and watery. Teacher says she thinks it could be an allergic reaction to something or his teeth (dont know why) or an infection. So we are off to the doctor later. Im thinking of getting him tested for allergies anyway.

Sumaya, Hermanus was nice. The weather was STUNNING on saturday so we enjoyed it alot. And we could sleep in late cause my mom was eager to look after mignione I don't have advice on the winds Can't you try the homeopathic mixtures against winds? I'm still using the homeopathic stuff for M to sleep.

Baby Jap, slaughtering sheep sounds hectic. Wow..you're going to have one BIIIIG party Luckily you're good at baking so that's going to be fun for you

JustineK, is Kyle nie dalk siek nie? Ek's allergies vir katte en my oe raak bloedbelope, swel toe en traan verskriklik. Hou maar dalk die katte uit sy kamer vir 'n paar dae en kyk of die oe beter raak? Shame, hoop hy voel gou beter!

Lonie, ek hoop maar dis net 'n tand. Ek dink ek gaan maar net minder worry oordat sy so flippen picky is met haar kos Gaan nou maar die raad volg en as sy nie haar kos wil eet nie, dan niks vir haar gee nie (net melk).

Nevermind, lol, I saw you were typing lots. lol. We live right at the back of the airport, where they work on the planes, in day time you can see the comotion at the airport, but not really notice it, but at night time, there is all the lights, and you can see everything moving, it is quite something to see.. Strangely enough, everyone asks me about noise, and when they come to visit, it soooo quiet, you even hear the doves and kiewets. It is soooo peaceful there. The only noise you hear, is when they start the engin of a plane to work on, and at night the big freight planes when they take off, it is only the enjin sounds. Other than that it is really quiet there, as to where we lived before, it was right in the pathway of the planes, so everything rattled. LOL

Ok, so I made vetkoek just now but some of them still looks raw on the inside......what to do?????? I found this really easy recipe now......anyone want to try it and let me know how it tastes? (sorry its Afrikaans)



Vrystaat poeding

Bestanddele

¾ koppie suiker 3 eetlepels margarine
1½ koppie meel 2 eetlepels appelkoos konfyt
½ melk 1 teelepel bakpoeier
Sout 1 teelepel fyn gemmer

Metode

Meng alles saam en gooi in n gesmeerde bak skottel. Gooi ½ koppie suiker en 2 koppies water boo-oor. Bak 350 c vir +- 1 uur.

Vision, ek dink ook ons gaan n climate shock he, en wat my bekommer is dat ons nie Suid Afrikaanse medies het nie.....So bly dat R deurgeslaap het! Dis oulik hoe sy jaloers raak jong!

Marilu, dis wat ek mis van n ma naby het - om uit te help as M sleg geslaap het! Klink te oulik hoe sy rondhardloop en die hond probeer vang

Marijke, ek stem saam met jou oor die kos, as M nie wil eet nie kry sy nie kos weer nie en ek gaan ook nie 10verskillende disse vir haar maak nie. Ek dink hulle kan al verstaan dat aksies gevolge het. en om kos uit te spoeg of weg te gooi of ignoreer het ook n gevolg. Maar dan weer sy drink meer as sy nie lekker geeet het nie, maar dit pla my nie regtig nie.

Marilu, M het gevriesde etes, dit bestaan uit blomkool, kaas en tamatie bake, spagetti bolognaise met mince en een met chicken, beef & veggie bake en lamb & veggie bake. Ek reik maar in die vrieskas en wat uitkom kry sy vir aandete.

Lonie, ek sal jou glo ek en manlief praat nou die dag - toe hy sy kinders gevat het was daar ook baie babas en hulle het vreeslik gehuil elke keer....maar hoe gouer hulle dit leer hoe beter

Where do you live Justine????? Springs maybe? It might be the cats hair that is doing it, you can have him tested for allergies, but remove the cat and wash his hands everytime after he touches it and see if it gets better.
