July 2009 Moms

Ok, this has officially been the worst night we have ever had with N. It went like this: Normally when I get home from work at 5pm, she drinks. She refused tonight. She also had her last sleep at 2:30 and was awake since then. Then we went to Kindermusik and she was a bit niggly. We went shopping and came home. I had to feed her FOOD since she hasn't had anything to eat or drink since 3pm, so I gave her avo and chicken. Then she had a quiet, calm bath and we got dressed. I tried to give her milk like I usually do and then she should fall asleep. NO. She refused and started screaming. I tried to put her down, she screamed. She screamed until now. As in SCREAM at the top of her lungs. I gave her panado, rescue remedy and dipped her. I talked loudly to her for the first time in my life and I feel terrible about it but HELL! I would never cope with a colicky baby. Eventually I gave her some juice and her eyes just closed. She is now asleep with hubby on bed. Don't even get me STARTED on him! He is STILL sick with a fever of 38 and freaking moaning all the bloody time. I can't take it anymore. Now it is MY fault that he couldn't see the doctor at 6pm, because our doctor is ON LEAVE! So he is going for blood test tomorrow. I had such a nice day at work for a change and now THIS. Sorry for moaning, but I am freaking exhausted.

Call me a bad mother but I just N dummy in wine. Twice. After she had rescue remedy AND panado. I am at my wit'sm,,d g,h bgm bgm ,(N thinking she's funny) end. She SCREAMS the moment I put her down. i have never had a crying baby, so am not equipped for this. There she goes again becuase I refuse that she types...
