MOrning all

The lady coming to live with us is one of the other SA guys's wife, they have been living seperate for more than a year and he was on the point of resigning when we said she can come stay here. We do chat a lot so get on fine, but she is vegetarian and although I know it wont be easy we will probably survive....or I hope so.

Im peeded off at hubby today, he is just irritating me, grrrr. But I would rather not vent further.

Deja sorry to hear about your bad night, lets hope it doent happen again soon, and you are not a bad mother, it happens to all of us. When MIcheala does that I sit alone with her in a quiet room and play and eventually the darkness and nothing to do makes her calm down and drink so she can sleep.

Marijke, so cute of her wanting to irritate the cat! And murphys law on falling all the pillows miss, shame.

I also co slept with Micheala for almost 2months, but she moves around a lot during the night and I was always scared she might suffocate or hubby rolls onto her. So she is happy in her cot next to me.

Ah sweet man Marilu that is so cute that she copies her dad. Like you said at least she gets some food in Funny how they do different things at creche and at home they refuse.

O ja, wanted to tell you guys. Remember I said that Mignione is refusing to eat..I asked the creche how she's eating there and the teacher said the only way she can feed Mignione is if she lets her lay on a cushion (not flat, half upright). That's the only time that she can get M to open her mouth for the spoon. I've tried it..no success, she refuses to NOT sit upright with me I don't mind, as long as she gets food in at the creche! BUT I'm really putting in an effort to get M to eat at home as well. Last night I took pieces of chicken, cooked thick slices of carrots until it's just soft (not too soft otherwise she just squashes it in her hands), as well as pasta. And she actually ate it!! Well, Renier had to sit with her and take a bite of the carrot and then M grabbed the piece and ate too. haha..so she was copying Renier but at least she ate!!!!

Marijke at B wanting to irritate the cat, I am surprised he stayed around so long Not cool that she fell though but as they learn I guess they are going to fall...

I co-slept with Rebekah until she was 3 and a half months old and since then she sleeps in her cot but many nights if we cant calm her she just comes into bed with us and then she sleeps so well

Yip I dont know how she finds time to write such nice long posts but it keeps us entertained so I dont mind

Ai Charlene, ek hoop regtig jou suster besef wat aangaan en los die simpel mansmens!! MAAR ek was ook so toe ek daai ouderdom was..onnosel en gedink ek weet die beste!! Ek't toe darem ok uitgedraai na ek besef het liefde is REGTIG baie blind!

Jana, ek's jammer jy't gisteraand so 'n rowwe aand gehad met Nienke. Imagine daai vir die eerste 10weke van Nienke se lewe..jip..dit was myne, die dat ek so permanent depressed was, en as jy 'n slegte ma is omdat jy een keer met Nienke geraas het, dan moet ek gekruisig word want daai eerste 10weke was HEL en ek het my humeur ELKE aand verloor!!!! Ek kan net imagine hoe erg dit vir jou was veral nadat jy gewoond is dat Nienke so 'n rustige baba is!! Shame man! Gelukkig het sy darem toe uitgepass op die ou end. Oor jou man..hulle is ERG as hul siek is. HOekom kan hy nie na 'n ander dokter gaan nie? Hoop jou dag is fantabulous vandag om op te maak vir gisteraand

Skitter, glad you enjoyed the 'business trip' yesterday!! I would never be able to live with anyone else except for Renier, before I got pregnant I lived with a friend and it didn't work out at all. I really hope it works out for you guys!

Kiara, sorry to hear that you had a bad night as well Shame, I wonder what's up that all our babies are having rough nights lately?

Mignione didn't sleep well last night, she was awake 9,12,1,4,5. Jip, that's alot But it was only cause she coughed and then woke up because of it! Geez, I really hope this cough disappears soon!!!!!!

Kiara, I have read some of her stuff, really funny! Can't believe she has 2 or 3 kids, work full time and still have time to blog (unless she does it in work time! )

Was wondering last night if you (Kiara) also co-sleep like Jana does?

I also joined mommalicious but I find it rather dead (especially if you are use to chatting 50 pages a day!

Well B saw the cat on the couch yesterday and stood up to irritate the thing, I think she stood there for almost 20min, I packed pillows around her and when she fell she missed all the bloody pillows and hit her head then she cried for 20min.

Oh well!
