July 2009 Moms

She has gotten quite a few lately especially when she was sick. I have left work early quite a lot cause she gets the creche says she has a fever and then sometimes she does and sometimes she doesnt. I think it is teething. She was fine this morning and last night she was just niggly. SHe doesnt like us to touch her gums so I really think it is teething and I tried to phone the Paed but she is away until next week

DH is going to go and fetch her and take her to my MIL cause she is at home.

I have so much work to do and my boss is on holiday so I have to run the office so I cant really leave.

I AM THE WORST MOTHER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Deja I hope your hubby is ok sounds like he could have something serious

Shame Marilu I think the lack of concentration is from sleep deprevation and food deprevation

hahaha Deja I was also looking at investing in a nappy making machine, but researched and discovered that most moms prefer a specific brand.

Hi Lizel, congrats on the new bakkie, we miss you too and i'm glad that Zelri is doing much better and also sorted things out dh.

Marilu i think thats an excellent idea for Marijke, i think i would flip if our domestic cleans the kitchen with the bathroom lappie... and they like to act dom but they know what they doing!

Ag no Vision, maybe its the teething? does she get it often? and is it because she was sick that she gets them or just randomly because of teething?

Oh Vision I'm so sorry, was Bekah sick this morning? I know how you feel, try taking a half day today, sure your boss will understand.

Lizel, glad you and hubby sorted things out and that lil Zelri is sleeping great, Congrats on the new ride

Didi I'd love to have a trained nanny, but like Marilu says, they are really expensive. My bosses wife has one (even though she doesn't work) and I can tell you that they pay her allot because she needs to sleep in whenever they require, and when they go on holiday or weekends away she goes with.

Deja, your hubby's conditions sounds hectic.

BTW Z loves sleeping on his tummy and he hates the pillow.

I just want to cry!!!!! I HATE being a working mom!!! The creche called now and Bekah has a fever of 39 and is not happy.
Who elses babies get fevers all the time?

I have taken off 6 days of work already with Bekah being sick and even though my boss is understanding I cant take advantage!!!!
